Systems Engineer
UFG Insurance
• Support the configuration, testing, deployment, and day-to-day management of enterprise SaaS and on-premises applications such as Microsoft 365, Atlassian Suite, Miro, ImageRight, Windows Server, LINUX, Hyper-V, and other application and infrastructure technologies. • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing systems and application integrations. • Perform routine system maintenance, patches, and updates in collaboration with senior team members. • Partner with the IT Operations team to ensure system reliability, availability, and performance. • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate application-related workflows to improve efficiency and user experience. • Create and maintain documentation, usage standards, and technical guidelines for application support and management. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery and process improvement efforts. • Develop training materials to support application adoption and best practices. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance user adoption and maximize application value.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience in an enterprise technology environment)
- 3+ years of experience in software development, application engineering, systems implementation, or related technology roles.
- Hands-on experience supporting and deploying SaaS platforms such as Office 365, Jira, Miro, or similar enterprise tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with insurance industry workflows (e.g., policy management, claims processing, underwriting) is a plus.
