• Lead the development of private-wire solar and BESS projects in the UK from early-stage qualification through to construction readiness • Strengthen Alight’s internal capability in private-wire development by helping to standardise processes, frameworks and best practices • Identify and screen sites suitable for private-wire solar generation • Engage landowners and agents to secure site control via exclusivity • Coordinate all technical, planning and commercial workstreams to reach ready-to-build (RTB) status • Support the commercial team during structuring of private-wire PPAs and offtake arrangements

Design, develop, direct, test, validate and document software systems using Agile methodologies and software tools such as GitHub and Jira. Analyze user needs, performance requirements, interfaces and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Design and build cloud-scale Services and APIs running in Amazon instances by creating Kubernetes and docker images, using modern standards and frameworks such as RESTful JSON APIs. Develop and Support APIs built on top of Python, Java and PHP programming languages and implemented with different frameworks/libraries such as Flask, SQL Alchemy, Symphony, Zend, Spring. Develop and maintain web applications using standards such as HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS and modern frameworks such as Angular and ReactJS. Measure, maintain and improve the performance of cloud-based and local data stores. Partner with the team to create solutions, assist team’s and organization’s migration to new technologies to provide better performance and results to clients.
