Bridge

Design, develop, direct, test, validate and document software systems using Agile methodologies and software tools such as GitHub and Jira. Analyze user needs, performance requirements, interfaces and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Design and build cloud-scale Services and APIs running in Amazon instances by creating Kubernetes and docker images, using modern standards and frameworks such as RESTful JSON APIs. Develop and Support APIs built on top of Python, Java and PHP programming languages and implemented with different frameworks/libraries such as Flask, SQL Alchemy, Symphony, Zend, Spring. Develop and maintain web applications using standards such as HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS and modern frameworks such as Angular and ReactJS. Measure, maintain and improve the performance of cloud-based and local data stores. Partner with the team to create solutions, assist team’s and organization’s migration to new technologies to provide better performance and results to clients. May work at the Paramus, NJ worksite or telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. and report to the Paramus, NJ site. Salary: $112,249.92/year. Requirements: - Bachelor’s (or foreign equivalent) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related. - Two years of work experience in the job offered. Mobile - Web Developer Location: Tysons (McLean) United States Job Description: External Description Mobile/Web Developer (.Net) The Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA), the largest airline pilot union in the world and the largest non-governmental aviation safety organization in the world (representing over 80,000 pilots at 42 U.S. and Canadian airlines) seeks an experienced Mobile/Web Developer for our office in Tysons (McLean), Virginia. The Mobile/Web Developer gathers user requirements, perform systems design and analysis, and develops and tests mobile and web applications, and other application/database integrations that can be complex and also provides input for the lifecycle development of projects, allowing for integration of corporate technical architecture standards and strategy. They collaborate with Architects, Developers, Data Analysts, and other technology specialists in the implementation of projects and strategy. Researches, identifies, and recommends design and technology infrastructure alternatives. May assist in the design, when appropriate, of new alternatives.
