Job Overview The Business Development & Training Coordinator will support the VP of Business Development & Training in executing training initiatives that help brokers, correspondent partners, and internal teams succeed in the Non-QM mortgage market. This role will assist in the development, coordination, and delivery of training programs focused on Non-QM products, guidelines, processes, and tools. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and eager to learn the Non-QM lending space. This role will help ensure training materials are accurate, engaging, and accessible while supporting business development initiatives that strengthen broker and partner relationships and expand the company’s reach in the market. What You’ll Do Training Development & Content Support - Maintain and update Non-QM training decks and materials to ensure they reflect current guidelines, product updates, and compliance requirements - Develop and refine webinar presentations, specialty training decks, and sales enablement materials for brokers, correspondent partners, and internal teams - Create customized white-label training materials for clients, including broker, correspondent, and Realtor education decks tailored with partner branding and messaging - Support the development of specialty training materials for correspondent partners by tailoring content to specific program requirements and removing overlays where appropriate - Assist in the creation of internal and external training resources including job aids, playbooks, and educational documentation - Help revamp existing training materials to make sessions shorter, more engaging, and more sales-focused Training Program Coordination - Coordinate and manage logistics for webinars, training sessions, and educational events including scheduling, registrations, material preparation, and post-event follow-up - Support the preparation of training presentations for recurring sessions such as Cats Corner, product training webinars, and internal education initiatives - Compile webinar survey feedback and develop summary reports to evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement - Support development of town hall presentations and internal communication materials related to training and product updates - Track training participation, attendance, and feedback metrics to help measure program impact Sales & Partner Education Support - Assist with the development of a Non-QM Sales Playbook including messaging guides, email and voicemail examples, marketing strategies, and objection-handling resources for sales teams - Participate in recurring meetings with product and credit leaders to review loan scenarios, denials, and exceptions in order to improve training content and broker education - Help develop creative webinar topics designed to increase broker engagement, attendance, and educational value - Support the launch and development of a Non-QM “Deephaven Academy” training program for loan officers, including certification and branded recognition for participants Training Delivery & Skill Development - Shadow training sessions and gradually assist in delivering internal and external education sessions to build capacity for training initiatives - Develop expertise in company products, guidelines, and processes to become an additional training resource for sales teams, brokers, and partners - Assist with product and system training initiatives including HELOC portal education to support scaling of training efforts across the organization - Help facilitate educational sessions such as product office hours or Q&A forums to support broker and sales team learning Market Engagement & Industry Awareness - Support preparation for conferences, webinars, and industry events where training and educational resources are presented - Attend select industry events or trade shows to gain insight into broker needs, market trends, and training opportunities Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, Finance, or a related field preferred - 1–3 years of experience in training coordination, sales support, mortgage operations, or a related role - Interest in learning the Non-QM mortgage market and mortgage products. - Strong organizational and project coordination skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly - Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and virtual training platforms (Zoom, Teams, or similar) - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within the mortgage industry Preferred Experience - At The Pipeline Group, BDRs are Go-to-Market Advisors who build pipeline, open markets, and drive real revenue impact for some of the fastest-growing companies in the world. What You'll Do After completing our Certification Program, you'll be on the phones, driving outbound activity, and contributing to generating deal opportunities.
