• Configure and extend Guidewire PolicyCenter modules including Policy Submission, Quoting, Issuance, Renewals, and Cancellations • Customize screens, field validations, product models, coverage terms, and rules using GOSU scripting • Create and maintain PCF (Page Configuration Format) files and UI components • Design and develop Web Services (SOAP/REST) for inbound and outbound integration with third-party systems • Implement Messaging architecture for asynchronous communication (e.g., JMS, plugins) • Work closely with Business Analysts, QA, Architects, and client SMEs to interpret functional requirements into technical design • Conduct unit testing and support SIT/UAT phases with quick defect resolution • Develop technical design documents, integration specs, and deployment guides

• Influence company goal setting by representing engineering’s current and future capacity & capabilities. • Strategically align division teams with the company direction, then communicate the vision and plan to the rest of the engineering team and other stakeholders. • Understand how to navigate a complex domain area and reconcile market, budget, and competing priorities as constraints. • Department budget ownership not limited to but including current headcount, team development, education, tooling, hiring and retention. • Track and evaluate key performance metrics, objectives, dependencies, status, and results of a growing product portfolio • Shape technical processes with the assistance of engineering leadership. • Lead engineering managers, mentor next level down leaders, and build engineering teams in a high-growth environment • Empower developer productivity and set the tone for the culture of the department • Evaluate technology partners, where appropriate • Collaborate with other departmental leaders (Product, Design, Technical Program Management, Data) to organize initiatives and organizational growth plans • Manage, track and promote employee engagement by building a mission-driven culture of improving patient’s lives built on teamwork, autonomy, interdependence and creative problem-solving • Direct key technical decisions related to application and data model design. • Understanding of data structures, TDD, and software engineering design patterns and principles.

• Define and prioritize integration paths with strategic partners across the identity, security, and developer ecosystem (e.g., Identity Providers, Identity Governance & Administration, SIEM/SOAR, AI toolchains, cloud providers, et al.) • Rapidly design and prototype advanced integrations such as MCP server connectors, ephemeral credential brokers, and agentic AI security workflows • Develop reusable reference architectures and integration blueprints • Partner closely with Engineering, Security, Product, and Business Development teams to translate integration opportunities into impactful product outcomes • Push the envelope, expanding how 1Password further delivers differentiated industry leading value to the security ecosystem • Represent 1Password’s integration vision in technical forums, with partners, and at industry events • Ensure all integrations meet high standards for security, performance, and maintainability.
