• Design and build agentic LLM pipelines that power AI features across the product. • Build full-stack product features: Python/FastAPI web applications, TypeScript/React web tooling. • Prompt-engineer and iterate on LLM prompts and models. Role Description You'll be the software engineer embedded in Parachute Health's IT & Security team, building the internal platforms, automations, and AI-powered workflows that keep our healthcare technology environment secure, compliant, and operationally efficient. You'll write code that touches on identity, endpoint, network, cloud security, compliance, evidence collection, and incident response in an environment governed by HITRUST, SOC 1, and SOC 2. Responsibilities - Internal tooling & automation - Design, develop, and maintain internal applications and automations that eliminate manual IT/Security work, including provisioning, access reviews, compliance evidence collection, audit preparation, and ticket triage. - Develop and maintain integrations across the security and IT stack, including Okta, Zscaler, Splunk/Wazuh, Lacework, Drata, Datadog, AWS, GCP, GitHub, and n8n. - Package, deploy, and operate IT/Security tooling using Parachute's standard deployment patterns and observability stack. - AI & agentic workflows - Architect agentic AI workflows for IT and Security operations, including automated alert triage, log correlation, root-cause analysis, guided remediation, access-review automation, and audit evidence collection. - Build the context layer (MCP servers, retrieval pipelines, and embeddings) that grounds AI agents in Parachute-specific systems, policies, and runbooks. - Drive AI adoption across the IT/Security team through pairing, architecture reviews, and reusable skills/plugins/workflows. - Build an MCP-based agent that automates audit evidence collection from multiple sources. - Replace manual access-review workflows with an agentic pipeline. - Security - Develop, tune, and maintain SOAR/SIEM detections, dashboards, and correlation rules in Splunk/Wazuh. - Support threat hunting, incident investigation, pen test, and/or red teaming, and forensic analysis with custom tooling and queries (Redshift, BigQuery, log platforms). - Apply MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and HITRUST CSF to guide detection engineering and control implementation. - Contribute to SOC runbooks, SOPs, and automation playbooks (SOAR). - Security audits & reliability - Automate compliance evidence collection and control validation across SOC 2, HITRUST CSF, HITRUST AI, and HIPAA. - Participate in an on-call rotation for IT/Security incidents; contribute to post-incident reviews and continuous improvement. - Maintain stable, performant, and auditable internal application stacks. Qualifications - 2+ years of writing production code in a web-based environment. - Professional experience with: - Ruby on Rails, and/or Python, and/or JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Node.js). - Hands-on experience with AWS (IAM, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda) and infrastructure-as-code. - Demonstrated experience integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs and building automations across SaaS platforms. - Working knowledge of at least one compliance framework - SOC 2, HITRUST, HIPAA, ISO 27001, or NIST. - Security-first mindset: you think about least privilege, secrets handling, PHI exposure, and audit trails by default. - Strong fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, and TDD. - Must reside in the U.S. Nice to have - Experience building agentic AI systems in production - agent architectures, tool integration via MCP, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation frameworks. - Experience setting up AI development environments and driving AI adoption across a technical team. - Familiarity with our stack: Okta, ZScaler, Splunk/Wazuh, Lacework, Drata, Datadog, n8n workflows and/or Argo workflows. - SIEM detection engineering or SOC tooling experience (Splunk SPL, Wazuh rules, Sigma). - Healthcare technology background - exposure to HIPAA, PHI handling, or DME workflows. - Security or cloud certifications (CCA-F, CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, OSCP). - Experience as a technical lead bridging IT, Security, Engineering, and Compliance stakeholders. - Proficient in SQL (Redshift, BigQuery) for forensic and operational analytics. • Help translate product capabilities and releases into clear, outcome-focused narratives for different audiences • Create user-facing content - how-to guides, one-pagers, release notes, and quick-reference materials - for new features and workflows • Develop and maintain a library of educational resources including videos, demos, and written guides for key user groups • Partner with the broader Marketing team to develop and support campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and product adoption • Support go-to-market planning and execution for new feature releases, coordinating timelines and deliverables across teams • Build sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, battlecards, and competitive one-pagers that help internal teams communicate product value • Contribute to campaign execution across channels, including email, in-app, and content, gaining hands-on experience with the full campaign lifecycle • Monitor user questions and feedback to identify content gaps and inform messaging priorities over time

• Project Coordination: Support the development and maintenance of detailed project plans, tracking scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and action items. • Serve as the primary Account Manager for assigned health system owned HME providers where the hospital counterpart is also on Parachute • Work closely with the Health System Account Manager to create a symbiotic relationship between both organizations • Own executive and operational relationships across HME leadership, intake, billing, and operations • Navigate health system governance, reporting structures, and decision making hierarchies • Lead QBRs, success planning, and performance reviews • Act as the escalation point for HME related workflow, performance, and adoption issues • Own and report on key performance metrics including order volume, fulfillment rate, response time, and sendback trends • Use Parachute data to identify leakage, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for HME and health system stakeholders • Partner cross functionally to drive measurable improvements • Develop and maintain a strong working understanding of HME ERP systems such as Brightree and similar platforms • Understand how Parachute integrates with HME ERPs to support order intake, fulfillment, and billing workflows • Maintain a high level understanding of Parachute’s EHR integrations, most commonly Epic and Cerner • Confidently speak to how clinical orders flow from the EHR into Parachute and downstream into HME systems • Partner with Implementation, Product, and Integration teams to support optimization and troubleshooting • Drive increased order capture into health system owned HME providers • Expand Parachute adoption across HME workflows and facilities • Support new owned HME launches, expansions, and migrations from fax or legacy processes • Align HME growth initiatives with broader enterprise health system objectives • Maintain a strong understanding of health system clinical workflows and operational models • Partner closely with Enterprise Health System Account Managers to ensure consistent account strategy • Ensure HME performance supports enterprise retention, growth, and executive priorities

• Team Leadership & Development • Direct Management: Lead and mentor a team of 6 - 7 Facility Growth Operations Associates. • Full-Cycle Talent Management: Handle onboarding, training, performance management, and career development to ensure high employee engagement and retention. • Scaling: Recruit and onboard new team members to scale the function as the company grows. • Operational Strategy & Execution • Strategic Playbooks: Develop, test, and implement playbooks for activating facility users across various care settings. • Data-Driven Growth: Use HubSpot, Tableau, and Excel to track success, iterate on strategy, and build reporting systems for execution activity. • Process Improvement: Partner with Marketing to develop value-driven materials and refine internal workflows to drive revenue and efficiency. • Embrace Critical thinking skills with attention to detail and the ability to lead your team to think critically. • Clinician Engagement (Individual Contribution) • Direct Outreach: Spend 20% of your day on outbound calls to clinical partners to drive platform adoption and usage. • End-User Training: Lead "roll-up-your-sleeves" demos and training sessions tailored to the specific needs of each facility. • Feedback Loop: Synthesize user feedback to highlight product pros/cons and flag insights for the Product team.
