Role Description The People Partners mission is to be a partner to our leaders, enabling them to activate and amplify their people. You’ll be instrumental in driving a high-performance and high-productivity culture across your portfolio, bringing data-driven insights and a deep knowledge of pragmatic advice to activate our leaders. This role will be pivotal in driving the commercial success of Employment Hero through: - Providing product-led guidance to Product & Engineering leaders, enabling execution at maximum velocity. - Contributing to the People Team’s strategic priorities as a member of the Performance Ops Team, including building and scaling AI-driven people processes. - Advising on organisational design to ensure we’re optimised for success and set up to scale, using AI tools to surface insights and stress-test decisions faster. - Supporting talent management and succession planning to enhance leadership effectiveness. - Helping establish and maintain a high performance culture across Product & Engineering, modelling the AI-first ways of working we expect from the teams we support. Qualifications - Experience aligning business goals to people strategies to drive performance and effectiveness. - A background in people partnering, ideally across portfolios spanning multiple geographies. - Comfort leveraging AI and HR analytics to provide actionable insights and support organisational design. - Experience contributing to workforce planning, succession management, and leadership development. - Tech-savvy and experienced working with cross-functional teams, preferably in technology or product-led companies. - Strong commercial and systems thinking; able to connect people decisions to product delivery and business outcomes. - Comfortable operating with incomplete information, making judgment calls at speed, and constructively challenging leaders. Requirements - Be the person Product & Engineering leaders actually want in the room. You’ll work through how teams scale, where they’re getting stuck, and what needs to change. - Get into the detail of org design with leaders, challenging structure and people decisions that don’t serve the Product strategy. - Help leaders make fast, well-reasoned people decisions. We move quickly here, and the standard is high. - Coach leaders on what it looks like to live the EH Way through the calls they make, how they communicate, and the trade-offs they’re willing to own. - Drive high performance across your client group. That means clear expectations, active performance management, and stepping in early when something’s off. - Bring data and judgment to the table. You’ll spot capability gaps and structural drag before they become leadership problems. - Help leaders have the conversations that matter, direct, timely, and aligned to what a high-performance culture actually requires. - Design talent and performance practices that support continuous delivery and fast iteration, not annual cycles and checkbox reviews. - Stay ahead of engagement, retention, and burnout risks using analytics and direct observation, then work with leaders to act on what you find. - Champion async-first, remote-first ways of working across regions. You’ll see first-hand how much execution quality improves when focus and autonomy are protected. - Use AI and people analytics to surface real insights and get ahead of performance or capacity risks before they escalate. - Actively experiment with AI tools to cut manual work and enable better workforce decisions at scale. This isn’t aspirational, it’s part of how we operate. Benefits - You will work remotely, with the flexibility to own your time and impact. - You will access cutting-edge tools to amplify your work, knowledge and outputs. - You’ll surround yourself with ambitious, outcome-driven colleagues who challenge you to do the best work of your life. - You’ll own ESOP (employee share options) in one of the world’s fastest-growing tech companies. - You’ll also have access to a wide range of benefits that includes a very generous parental leave policy, subsidised egg freezing, a WFH office expense budget, and outstanding learning & development opportunities.
