Accountant
Max Piccinini
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable balances • Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closings with the finance team • Produce analytical reports necessary for performance management • Receive, verify, record and post supplier invoices
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in general accounting
- SAGE 100 required; WooCommerce experience is a plus
- Degree (Bac+2 to Bac+5 equivalent) in accounting, finance or business management
- Proficiency in management (cost) accounting
- Experience with multi-company or international accounting

• You’ll be at the heart of helping Australian SMEs thrive by owning their full bookkeeping cycle—from coding multi-currency transactions to closing the month with confidence. • Your attention to detail and proactive problem-solving will turn complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for clients. • By streamlining processes, leveraging automation, and keeping everything accurate and up-to-date, you’ll ensure every client experience is seamless, empowering businesses to grow and succeed. • Capture bills in Dext, code correctly (GST, tracking), match POs, prep payment runs, and reconcile the AP ledger. • Code daily bank/PSP feeds, identify anomalies, and raise clear, actionable queries with clients. • Manage multi-currency wallets, inventory/COGS bridges, and payment gateways to maintain accurate records. • Issue invoices, send statements, and follow up on overdue balances to maintain healthy cash flow. • Post accruals, prepaids, depreciation, FX revaluations, reconcile balance-sheet accounts, and lock periods. • Prepare and lodge BAS/IAS and compile TPAR data for reportable industries. • Capitalise additions, run depreciation, and reconcile assets to the GL. • Configure and troubleshoot Xero apps and other integrations to streamline processes. • Communicate promptly and clearly with clients via the Visory platform to resolve queries and provide updates.
• Deliver back-office finance services: you’ll manage a portfolio of clients, working from files that have been cleaned up for you. • You’ll be delivering tailored bookkeeping workflows for our clients, including; Bank statement processing • Bank transaction processing • Management of fixed assets • Manual General Journal Entries (GJEs) • Accounts Payable • Accounts Receivable • Processes at month end to finalise the month including inter-entity reconciliation • Financial management • 1099 preparation and lodgement
