Role Overview: As a Physical Engineer in the Utility Substation group, you will support engineering design and analysis for Electric Utilities across the country. You will assist in developing substation physical design packages, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high‑quality engineering deliverables that meet project scope, schedule, and client requirements. Essential Responsibilities: What you will do: Develop and support physical layout designs for transmission and distribution substations. Prepare equipment arrangements, plan & section views, grounding layouts, and conduit/cable routing. Support development of construction drawing packages (30%, 60%, 90%, and IFC milestones). Interpret vendor drawings and integrate equipment requirements into design packages. Apply applicable engineering standards including IEEE, NESC, and utility-specific standards. Revise engineering drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, BlueBeam, AutoCAD Electrical, or Bentley MicroStation. Coordinate with protection & controls engineers, civil engineers, designers, and project managers. Perform internal design checks for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards. Maintain organized engineering documentation and drawing files. Support constructability considerations including foundations, structures, cable trenches, and equipment installation. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from engineers and project teams. Support preparation of engineering documentation and reports. Assist with resolving engineering-related design issues. Maintain familiarity with applicable engineering codes and client standards. Support occasional field reviews and incorporate lessons learned from construction feedback Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Civil / Structural or Electrical from an accredited institution is preferred. Experience: 1–4 years of relevant engineering or substation design experience. Licensure: FE or PE preferred. Skills: Proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams. • Lead the execution of enterprise-wide data discovery & classification for both unstructured and structured data. • Lead data protection controls for Generative AI platforms to prevent unintended data disclosure and misuse. • Implement safeguards to ensure only appropriately classified and authorized data is available for AI prompts, responses, and training. • Identify and mitigate data overexposure risks. • Support data lifecycle governance, including retention, archival, legal hold, and secure disposal for both human and AI-accessible data. • Drafts configuration manuals, operating procedures, and system hardening guidelines. • Provides guidance in the application and reporting of data protection technology performance metrics. • Establish and maintain continuous data mapping and inventory to understand sensitive data.

• Service Delivery: Respond to and resolve service incidents following existing procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Track time, communications, and work output via ConnectWise Manage PSA. • Network Operations (NOC) Monitoring & Remediation: Remediate alerts from monitoring tools generated from firewalls, switches, access points, physical and virtual workstations, servers, and storage devices. Configure monitoring of client infrastructure using PRTG, Kaseya VSA, and ConnectWise Manage. • Security & Incident Response (SOC): Act as the first line of defense for security alerts. Triage potential threats (e.g., suspicious logins, EDR alerts, phishing reports) using established Incident Response playbooks. Isolate infected endpoints to prevent lateral movement and document forensic details. • VIP & Helpdesk Support: Provide primary "white-glove" remote support for VIP clients (CEOs/Executives) experiencing after-hours technical issues. Address all phone calls and urgent tickets outside of regular business hours with a focus on rapid resolution. • Cloud Administration: Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) and Google Workspace environments to resolve urgent user access or configuration issues. • Maintenance & Automation: Administer and perform the work for monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and yearly maintenance plans. Assist higher-level Engineers to automate recurring requests using Ninja RMM, ConnectWise Manage, PRTG, and PowerShell. • Backup Management: Monitor and remediate all CTS-provided client backup solutions: Acronis On-Prem, Acronis Cloud, and AFI. • Documentation: Create and maintain information and documentation in ConnectWise Manage and ITGlue to ensure a smooth handoff to the daytime engineering team.

• Provide expert support and maintenance for Mirth Connect. • Troubleshooting, configuring, and optimizing Mirth Connect implementations. • Ensure seamless data exchange between healthcare systems. • Work with Interface Department on technical issues. • Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to understand needs and develop effective solutions. • Monitor, analyze Mirth Connect performance, and implement improvements. • Document workflows, configurations, and support procedures.
