Process Engineer – PGN

Tecservice Engenharia e Consultoria

• Provide support to Process Engineering for Fertilizers and Chemical Gas units • Provide technical advisory support, including conducting equipment performance tests • Inspect equipment integrity and prepare reports • Monitor, participate in, and perform maintenance and inspection services on equipment, facilities and systems; support project, construction and assembly services; conduct technical feasibility studies for projects; and participate in risk assessments for project implementation • Create maintenance and inspection plans and procedures • Prepare technical and economic feasibility studies for process improvements on Fertilizer assets • Diagnose operational routines • Prepare operational risk analyses • Perform failure and risk analyses using applicable methodologies (HAZOP, fault tree analysis, Ishikawa/fishbone) • Develop technical specifications for procurement of equipment related to process improvements and prepare technical lists of strategic spare parts • Provide technical support to commissioning supervision and to performance testing of new equipment at the Fertilizers plants • Monitor basic and detailed engineering projects for improvements and expansions • Prepare technical communications with recommendations and alerts regarding recurring failure patterns or scopes of mechanical failures • Witness trials and equipment tests involving process variables • Provide technical opinions on tests and trials of process variables and feedstocks • Supervise preventive maintenance services on mechanical equipment; oversee assembly, disassembly and preparation of metallic and non-metallic piping; supervise disassembly, repair and reassembly of steam turbine components and boilers • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of water and gas systems • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of process systems • Complete risk analyses, notes and maintenance orders with the data required for their closure

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in related activities
  • Preferably at least 2 years of experience in operational gas processing units, refineries, fertilizer plants and/or petrochemical facilities
  • Proficiency in the following tools: SAP, DWG (AutoCAD), Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Degree in Engineering with professional registration (CREA)
