Growth Operations – Financial Advisory Manager

Darkroom

• Own the Flight Plan Infrastructure: The Flight Plan is Darkroom's proprietary financial and operational infrastructure built specifically for e-commerce brands. It includes dashboard systems and P&L frameworks designed to give clients real-time visibility into their business performance. • Managing the full lifecycle of the Flight Plan from client onboarding through full operational deployment. • Ensuring each client's Flight Plan is properly set up, maintained, and generating actionable insights. • Monitoring the health and accuracy of each client's operational and financial dashboards (P&Ls, revenue tracking, margin reporting, etc.). • Proactively identifying gaps or inefficiencies in a client's infrastructure and driving resolution. • Ensure clients are actively using and benefiting from the insights derived from their Flight Plan. • Support the Financial Advisory Department: Operating two core services to e-commerce brands: cash flow management and financial strategy. • Oversee the bookkeeper responsible for day-to-day cash flow operations across client engagements. • Review and validate the accuracy of cash flow reports, aging schedules, and working capital summaries produced by the bookkeeper. • Ensure the bookkeeper is maintaining clean, audit-ready records and flagging liquidity risks in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

  • You can manage a complete financial and operational infrastructure - including dashboards and P&Ls - and ensure systems are clean, accurate, and actionable.
  • You have strong financial management skills: you can read, interpret, and provide strategic insights on financial outcomes including revenue, margin, profitability, cash conversion cycle, and more.
  • You have investment or advisory experience that allows you to guide clients on runway, fundraising readiness, and capital efficiency.
  • You are fluent in English and comfortable in client-facing roles, including direct conversations with US-based e-commerce founders and operators.
  • You are eager to integrate AI tools into your workflow to enhance speed, accuracy, and output quality.
  • You are proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial modeling.
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and relentless about accuracy.
  • You prefer ownership over supervision and execution over theory.
