Customer Engineer

LangChain

• Lead onboarding engagements for new enterprise customers, guiding them through initial setup and unblocking issues as they begin building on the LangSmith platform • Create and deliver live, interactive training workshops to help customer teams build foundational product knowledge and agent engineering best practices • Develop scalable enablement frameworks including technical tutorials, best-practice guides, and reference implementations • Act as the voice of the new user, synthesizing feedback and identifying friction points to inform the product roadmap in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams • Partner with Sales, Deployed Engineering, and Professional Services to define enablement strategies for prospective customers, demonstrating the value and ease of getting started with LangChain • Stay at the forefront of agent engineering in industry to identify evolving trends and quickly incorporate learnings into customer enablement materials

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Enablement, Customer Success Engineer, Developer Advocate, or similar
  • Proven software engineering experience with 2+ years focused on AI/ML applications or agents, including strong proficiency in Python and a deep, practical understanding of the modern AI/LLM stack
  • Passion for educating users on technical topics and deep empathy for the developer experience
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver high-quality technical training programs, including live workshops, written tutorials, documentation, and video guides
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, from individual developers to enterprise stakeholders
  • Capacity to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of time for customer engagements
