IT Manager

Presidio

• Serve as the primary application owner for Presidio’s OneStream platform, ensuring stability, performance, and data integrity • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of OneStream analysts; set priorities and provide technical guidance and code reviews • Design, configure, and develop OneStream solutions, including business rules, calculations, workflows, dashboards, and reports • Independently develop and maintain complex functionality supporting close, planning, of OneStream Specialty Planning solutions (People Planning (PLP) and Sales Planning (SLP)) models and registers • Partner with Finance, FP&A, and HR stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable OneStream designs • Support monthly close, consolidation, forecasting, planning, and PLP/SLP cycles, including issue resolution and performance tuning • Manage system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and deployments in coordination with IT and external partners • To provide architectural expertise for new business requirements, from a design and implementation perspective • Establish and maintain application governance, documentation, security, and best practices • Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control requirements related to OneStream • Identify and drive opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • Overall 10+ years of experience in enterprise performance management (EPM), financial systems, or related disciplines, with 5+ years specific to OneStream
  • Hands-on experience administering and developing in OneStream in an enterprise environment
  • Strong experience building and maintaining OneStream business rules, calculations, workflows, and reporting components
  • Direct experience developing and supporting OneStream People Planning (PLP) and Sales Planning (SLP) models and registers using register-based planning, calculation definitions, and workflow-driven execution.
  • Strong understanding of financial close, consolidation, planning, and forecasting processes
  • Prior experience leading or managing analysts or application support teams
  • Ability to review, troubleshoot, and optimize OneStream solutions developed by others
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

The Position: The IT Manager, Transportation Applications, reporting to the Director of IT Workplace Technology Support, oversees Barrett’s transportation and logistics systems, including applications, automations, integrations, and ongoing development. This role manages vendor relationships and the internal transportation development team while partnering with the transportation department to plan, implement, optimize, and maintain transportation technology, projects, and system requirements. This position works Monday through Friday, from 8am-5pm. The compensation range for this position is $120K-$140K, depending on experience. Your Day-to-Day: - Lead a remote, multi-disciplinary team in planning and executing Barrett’s transportation technology strategy and initiatives. - Oversee Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and related logistics platforms, including parcel shipping, reverse logistics applications, and integrations. - Manage vendor relationships to ensure high levels of service, responsiveness, and business support. - Lead system upgrades, redundancy initiatives, integrations, and process automation projects. - Oversee the Transportation Development team’s Service Desk queue, ensuring SLA compliance, issue communication, and proper escalation. - Ensure timely, accurate resolution of issues with appropriate documentation in IT Service Desk tools. - Serve as a subject matter expert in: - ProShip parcel systems, rate shopping, label requirements, carrier integrations, and returns processing - Transportation regulations and compliance standards - Salesforce case and issue management tools - Ensure documentation and technical specifications meet departmental standards. - Partner with internal teams to improve existing systems and develop new processes. - Define, monitor, and communicate KPIs for transportation technology initiatives. - Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain high-performing team members through coaching, mentoring, and career development planning. - Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide timely feedback, and address performance issues in alignment with company policies. - Set clear goals for team members and support ongoing training and development. - Conduct regular team and one-on-one meetings and communicate company updates (GGOB). - Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. - Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. What You Bring to the Table: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field required. 8+ years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. - Eight (8)– Ten (10) years of experience in IT, transportation technology, or 3PL environments including a minimum of Three (3) years of leadership experience. - Experience with transportation and logistics software platforms deployed in cloud environments (AWS or similar). - Hands-on experience with software development methodologies. - Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies quickly. - Strategic and innovative thinker with the ability to challenge existing processes and drive transformation. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex concepts into terms and format appropriate for the audience. - Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. - Comfortable enforcing internal standards when required.
