Process Safety Engineer
DEKRA North America
• Provide technical services and guidance for Process Safety improvement activities globally • Conduct process safety assessments and evaluations to OSHA and PSM standards • Develop technical reports and communicate with clients in a timely manner • Propose practical risk-reducing tactics and assist clients in interpreting technical information
Job Requirements
- BS (or Higher) in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Fire Protection)
- EIT or Safety-related designation preferred (CSP, CFEI, CCPSC, PE, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of process safety
- Experience with Combustible Dust, Flammable, and/or other Hazardous Materials is preferred
- Strong knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations (NFPA, Building & Fire Codes, OSHA, etc.)
- Strong personal communications and leadership skills.
- Must be able to work well under pressure within a team environment.
