Job Requirements
- Have a High school / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant engineering/science fields or relevant work experience
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate highly technical information in a concise manner
- Have experience with DNS Servers and technology and the following internet/networking protocols: HTTP, TCP, UDP, SNMP and RADIUS
- Have 5 years of experience with CentOS and/or Red Hat Linux and associated Linux tools
- Have understanding of SSL certificates and PKI infra
- Have understanding of Databases and messages queues (e.g. Kafka, Vertica, Postgres, influx)
- Have experience in one or more of, Scripting Languages (Bash and/or Python), Network Routing/Switching and API
- Have knowledge of Ansible for infrastructure automation and orchestration

Job Summary Your Career The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning how we best serve our customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance and ensuring value realization in their investment with Palo Alto Networks. As a Solutions Consultant you provide technical leadership and expertise and guidance in your customer’s security transformation journey. You evangelize our industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security operations services that establish PANW as your customer’s cybersecurity partner of choice. • Partner with Sales to understand customer cloud, financial, and operational challenges and align Spot by Flexera capabilities to defined FinOps outcomes. • Lead technical pre-sales engagements, including discovery, solution architecture, product demonstrations, and value-based positioning. • Design and deliver PoCs and PoVs, with a strong focus on containerized workloads and Kubernetes optimization using Ocean. • Act as the technical authority during the sales cycle, supporting deal strategy and contributing to RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, including partner-led opportunities. • Demonstrate and position Flexera’s FinOps capabilities across cloud cost optimization, cost allocation, governance, and commitment management. • Support advanced container and Kubernetes optimization use cases, including rightsizing, scaling, availability, and cost efficiency. • Articulate how Flexera integrates FinOps, SaaS Management, and IT Asset Management to deliver differentiated Technology Intelligence outcomes. • Support partners through technical enablement, joint customer engagements, and solution validation. • Participate in US Public Sector opportunities as needed, with awareness of compliance, procurement, and security considerations. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent technical messaging and alignment across direct and partner-led motions.
