• Own and close high-value enterprise opportunities across the DACH region • Become a trusted advisor to General Counsel, Legal Ops, Procurement, Sales, and Compliance leaders • Run a structured, consultative enterprise process: discovery, qualification, solution design, stakeholder mapping, business case, security/procurement, negotiation, close • Translate customer needs into value by connecting Legartis capabilities to real outcomes: faster cycle times, lower risk, better governance • Build and execute strategic account plans, including market mapping, multithreading, and expansion strategy (land & expand) • Lead compelling demos and executive conversations, guiding evaluation teams through an AI adoption journey with confidence and clarity • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, CS, and Leadership to win deals and ensure strong handovers and long-term success • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline discipline, ensuring high-quality CRM hygiene and predictable revenue performance • Regular travel within the DACH region for key meetings and events

Job Requirements

  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
  • 5+ years experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally enterprise (typical ACV €50k–€150k+)
  • Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long sales cycles
  • Strong ability to sell consultatively: uncover pain, quantify impact, build value cases, and guide decision processes
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders (GC, CFO, CISO, Head of Procurement/Sales), with excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Structured and disciplined approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM hygiene
  • Curious, driven team player, comfortable operating in a scale-up environment where ownership and collaboration go hand in hand.

As a Federal Account Director, you will play a key role in executing our U.S. federal market access strategy, with a primary focus on assigned Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) VISN and VA Hospital accounts, as well as supporting Department of Defense (DoD) ecosystems where applicable. This position requires expertise in the federal healthcare landscape, including VA/DoD reimbursement dynamics, formulary processes, Criteria for Use (CFU), utilization management, and stakeholder engagement, particularly for therapies requiring administration by healthcare professionals under the medical benefit. You will focus on optimizing access and appropriate utilization of Alnylam's HCP-administered products by ensuring compliant application of the VA National Formulary and CFU at your assigned accounts. In collaboration with cross-functional partners, you will educate site administrators, department chairs, and clinical influencers on the value proposition of Alnylam products for Veterans and service members.
