Sun Coast Sciences
• Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) optimized for engagement and retention • Edit long-form YouTube videos including talking head, tutorial, and documentary-style content • Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound design, and color grading as needed • Work from creative briefs and raw footage provided by the team; in some cases, develop creative briefs yourself • Collaborate with the marketing team during US business hours (EST–PST, your choice) • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with fast turnaround times • Incorporate feedback quickly and iterate on edits based on performance data
Job Requirements
- Good communication skills in English
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
- Strong portfolio of short-form social media content
- Solid understanding of pacing, hooks, retention and conversion strategies for social-first video content
- Reliable internet and a capable editing workstation
- Self-motivated and organized
- Bonus Points: Experience with AI video generation tools, Graphic design skills, Podcast editing experience

• Coordinate and facilitate virtual meetings, live streams and presentations • Respond to all virtual communication in a timely and professional manner • Escalate issues as needed; learn and apply solutions in the future • Proactively engage with the team and jump in to support others as needed • Client facing, highly professional customer service • Other duties as assigned according to business line and regional attributes.
