• You are independently responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects in the areas of digitalization and e‑commerce • You monitor all relevant KPIs and take early action to ensure project scope is delivered on time and within budget • You perform active risk management and manage change requests • You structure backlogs and prioritize requirements sensibly so that MVPs or features can be delivered quickly • You demonstrate strong impact and leadership in managing the cross-functional project team and contribute to the development of our less experienced Project Managers • You act as the primary point of contact for your clients on all project-related questions and decisions • You are the contact person for the development team: you translate client requests into tangible requirements in the form of user stories and ensure clarity during the sprint • You provide proactive advice: you recognize when a project requires additional support and take appropriate measures.
Job Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner or Proxy PO in agile software projects; certification is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in project management for e‑commerce or transactional systems
- Proficient in project management methods and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Comfortable with Scrum/Kanban and agile software development and apply them daily
- Skilled at capturing, challenging, and clearly structuring business requirements and translating them into technical tasks
- You demonstrate composure and assertiveness in every project situation to achieve project goals
- Good technical understanding of software development and IT architectures to engage with developers on equal terms, make well-founded decisions, and explain relationships to stakeholders
- You work purposefully, solution-oriented, and with a high level of quality awareness
- Business‑fluent German (written and spoken) and good English skills
