• Independently conduct rigorous academic research on the application of AI in the supply chain, with a focus on demand forecasting, commodity price forecasting, replenishment and related topics. • Design, methodologically develop and practically validate your results (e.g. using real or provided datasets). • Analyze and assess models, methods or use cases with respect to their practical applicability. • Collaborate closely with our team and gain insight into ongoing client projects to contextualize your work in practice. • Work on a topic of your choice agreed upon with us that has both a scientific and practical connection to our projects. • We will support you with data, expertise and, if necessary, a small budget to help you successfully execute your research.
Job Requirements
- You are enrolled in a Master's program in Business, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Engineering or Natural Sciences, or a comparable discipline.
- You already have some experience in academic research and data preparation.
- You are interested in quantitative questions at the intersection of AI, analytics and supply chain management.
- You have very strong analytical skills and can present complex topics in a structured and understandable way.
- You work independently, in a structured manner and with high initiative.
- You are proficient with common office programs (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint); ideally you have initial experience with data analysis tools or programming languages.
- Very good German and English language skills complete your profile.
