• Day-to-day Finance Ownership: Own the full financial management cycle for legal entities for the region, including month-end and year-end close, general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements in line with group accounting policies and applicable local standards. • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, management accounts, and variance analyses. Provide the Finance Lead with clear, well-supported insights on legal entity financial performance. • AI-Driven Finance Optimization: Continuously identify and implement improvements to regional accounting workflows, reporting processes, and system/AI utilization, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI and automation to drive step-change efficiency gains. • Audit Management: Assist in the external audit process for the region — serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, coordinate preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation, manage audit timelines, and drive resolution of findings and implementation of corrective actions. Prior audit experience is strongly preferred. • Annual Planning & Rolling Forecast: Contribute to annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes for the region. Track actuals vs. budget, flag material variances and trends proactively, and support the Finance Lead in maintaining P&L forecast accuracy to enable timely business decisions. • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee end-to-end AP/AR processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, vendor management, and collections. Ensure accuracy and timeliness across all transactions.

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS in Finance or Accounting (CPA, ACCA, or CMA strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years in Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or Senior Accountant roles, preferably in a crypto, payment, or multinational environment
  • Proven experience leading external audit cycles; Big 4 or public accounting background is a strong plus
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment, navigate ambiguity, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and provide clarity and structure
  • Demonstrated interest in and working knowledge of AI tools and automation applied to finance functions (e.g., AI-assisted reconciliation, data analytics platforms); hands-on experience is a strong plus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — able to present complex financial information clearly to management and cross-functional teams
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Hands-on experience with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
