Role Description We are looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will: - Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation systems. - Work closely with development teams to improve reliability, scalability, and delivery velocity across our suite of .NET applications and services. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering role. - Proven experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation or Terraform. - Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks. - Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker. - Experience managing Windows and Linux operating systems in production environments. - Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet or equivalent. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline creation and management. - Experience with artifact repository management. - Demonstrated experience building fault-tolerant systems. Requirements - AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. - Experience with additional container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as NewRelic. - Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments and compliance standards. - Experience with workload automation or job scheduling tools such as JAMS, VisualCron, n8n, or similar. Responsibilities - Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, Auto Scaling groups, and CodeDeploy deployments. - Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins. - Manage containerized workloads using Docker and AWS ECR, including image builds, tagging, and registry lifecycle policies. - Support deployment and operational health of .NET Web Apps, Web APIs, and Windows Console Applications. - Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and server environments. - Maintain build automation and dependency management with Maven. - Collaborate with development teams on source control strategy and branching workflows in Azure DevOps. - Monitor system performance, respond to incidents, and drive root cause analysis and remediation. - Plan and execute SQL Server schema and data changes using migration-based tooling, ensuring safe deployments with rollback capability and minimal downtime. - Identify and implement process improvements to reduce toil and increase deployment frequency. - Document infrastructure, runbooks, and operational procedures. - Architect and implement fault-tolerant infrastructure, including redundancy strategies, failover mechanisms, and disaster recovery planning. • Designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for development • Developing, configuring, and managing multiple environments (development, testing, UAT, staging, production) and ensuring metadata deployments are synchronized and consistent • Configuring quality gates including code reviews, test execution, code quality checks, and code security scans within the CI/CD pipeline • Promoting and applying an automation-first approach to reduce manual configurations within the platform by writing custom scripts, configuring robotic process automation, etc. • Managing releases in coordination with development, QA and business teams • Implement strategies for quick data and metadata restoration in case of deployment failures or other issues • Leading backup and restore strategies, including scheduling data backups and maintaining restoration runbooks • Leading continuous improvements and enhancements to the CI/CD pipeline and team development workflows to evolve best practices • Setting up monitoring and alerting on deployments to detect and address issues • Documenting DevOps code promotion, back promotion, best practices, and environments • Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and training to the development team on continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices • Implementing observability tools within the platform to gain insights into system performance, reliability, and utilization to proactively identify potential issues • Configuring alerts on systems issues and leading incident response in collaboration with development teams • Configuring security tools and permission sets to enforce zero-trust security strategies and least-privilege access controls • Strong proven analytical ability and ability to solve problems independently

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions across the AWE, Encore, and ColdFusion platforms, ensuring fast, reliable, and repeatable builds, tests, and deployments • Define and enforce pipeline-as-code standards, managing Jenkinsfiles and GitHub Actions workflows in version control with proper branching, approval gates, and environment promotion strategies • Automate build, test, and deployment processes end-to-end, minimizing manual intervention and reducing time-to-production across all platforms • Manage and optimize containerized application deployments using Podman and Amazon ECS, including image builds, registry management, task definitions, service configurations, and auto-scaling policies • Architect, provision, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53) using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation tooling for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployment automation, and operational tasks across Windows and Linux environments • Establish automated security compliance checks and vulnerability remediation workflows, ensuring continuous compliance with SOC 2 Type II, and supporting PCI-DSS and other regulatory requirements as needed • Conduct regular security audits of infrastructure, pipelines, and deployment configurations, proactively identifying and remediating vulnerabilities before they reach production • Leverage AI-powered operations tools (AIOps) and agentic AI assistants to automate infrastructure monitoring, anomaly detection, incident triage, capacity planning, and automated remediation workflows • Design and deploy AI agents to accelerate DevOps workflows – automating security scanning, deployment validations, log analysis, runbook execution, and infrastructure drift detection • Own incident response and production reliability practices, including on-call processes, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement of system resilience
