DevOps Lead
Augeo
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions across the AWE, Encore, and ColdFusion platforms, ensuring fast, reliable, and repeatable builds, tests, and deployments • Define and enforce pipeline-as-code standards, managing Jenkinsfiles and GitHub Actions workflows in version control with proper branching, approval gates, and environment promotion strategies • Automate build, test, and deployment processes end-to-end, minimizing manual intervention and reducing time-to-production across all platforms • Manage and optimize containerized application deployments using Podman and Amazon ECS, including image builds, registry management, task definitions, service configurations, and auto-scaling policies • Architect, provision, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53) using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation tooling for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployment automation, and operational tasks across Windows and Linux environments • Establish automated security compliance checks and vulnerability remediation workflows, ensuring continuous compliance with SOC 2 Type II, and supporting PCI-DSS and other regulatory requirements as needed • Conduct regular security audits of infrastructure, pipelines, and deployment configurations, proactively identifying and remediating vulnerabilities before they reach production • Leverage AI-powered operations tools (AIOps) and agentic AI assistants to automate infrastructure monitoring, anomaly detection, incident triage, capacity planning, and automated remediation workflows • Design and deploy AI agents to accelerate DevOps workflows – automating security scanning, deployment validations, log analysis, runbook execution, and infrastructure drift detection • Own incident response and production reliability practices, including on-call processes, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement of system resilience
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity
- Deep expertise with Jenkins, including pipeline-as-code (Jenkinsfiles), distributed builds, plugin management, and integration with multiple SCM and deployment targets
- Strong proficiency with GitHub Actions, including workflow design, custom actions, matrix builds, environment secrets, and integration with AWS deployment targets
- Experience with Podman for container image builds, management, and deployment, including rootless containers, pod management, and Podman Compose for local development environments
- Deep experience with Amazon ECS (both Fargate and EC2 launch types), including task definitions, service configurations, load balancing, auto-scaling, and integration with ECR, CloudWatch, and IAM
- Proficiency with additional scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and tooling development
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar) for managing cloud infrastructure in a version-controlled, repeatable manner
- Hands-on experience implementing DevSecOps practices including SAST (SonarQube, Checkmarx, or similar), DAST (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar), SCA (Snyk, Dependabot, or similar), and container image scanning (Trivy, Grype, or similar)
- Experience with secrets management solutions (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault, or similar) and certificate management
- Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack, New Relic, or similar)
- Familiarity with the deployment and infrastructure needs of .NET/C# applications, Node.js/TypeScript applications, and ColdFusion/Lucee (CommandBox) applications
- Familiarity with AI agent development for automated incident response, runbook execution, and infrastructure self-healing workflows
- Experience with networking fundamentals (VPC design, security groups, NACLs, DNS, CDN, load balancing) in AWS
