MDM Analyst

• Help establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities • Manage an enterprise wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture • Fulfill duties related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company’s principal information assets • Develop & maintain inventory of the enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems, owners • Implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise • Maintain indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements • Develop Analytics and Reporting for various purposes as needed • In conjunction with the IT, provide progress reports to Board management and oversee periodic updates to the Department Data Governance Roadmap • Coordinate external data sources to eliminate redundancy and streamline the expense related to those services • Facilitate new business opportunities pertaining to the use of information assets to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the marketplace / represent data as a strategic business asset at the Senior Management table • Ensure better quality, visibility and accountability of organizational data across systems • Participate in trouble shooting of data exchanges across systems and help fix the immediate issues as well as help establish long term solutions to avoid data issues.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Data Management Practices and methodologies
  • Experience with Product Master or knowledge of product master data attributes, product hierarchy, Attribute based Product Models is a big plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
  • Knowledge and understanding of data governance concepts and frameworks is required
  • Knowledge of MDM systems like SAP_MDG, Oracle PDH, Informatica is a big plus
  • Tableau, Reporting skills, Python experience is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a major services organization, with large-scale data or project management
  • Knowledge of industry in data quality and data protection management practices.
  • Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
  • Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues.
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design.
  • Knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions.
  • Bachelors or Master’s in computer science, MIS, or Information Management.

The Community You Will Join: The Revenue Forecasting team plays a central role in shaping Airbnb’s financial outlook by accurately forecasting global topline revenue and leading the company’s revenue planning process. Your Expertise: - 2+ years of experience in strategic finance, product analytics, business intelligence, management consulting, or investment banking. - B.A. or B.S. from an accredited four-year college or university. - Strong financial modeling skills and ability to perform complex analyses to uncover business drivers and generate insights.
