Position OverviewWe are seeking a strategic and results-driven Strategic Partner Manager to drive revenue growth through our key reseller partnerships. This role is critical to expanding Q2's market reach by enabling our partners to successfully position, sell, and implement our digital solutions. The ideal candidate will blend relationship management, sales enablement, joint go-to-market strategy, and channel marketing to create a high-performing partner ecosystem. RESPONSIBILITIES• Create and design a compelling “better together” value prop for partners and Q2 overall and specific Q2 solutions • Develop and implement a strategy with the Q2 field on how to engage with partners and recommended sales plays to run • Work with Marketing to design and build the key artifacts needed including presentations, joint customer facing presentations, win stories, partnership and integration collateral • Align Q2’s and partner sales teams to help hit sales targets • Help promote the joint value prop to our partners and how to jointly position with prospects/customers • Identify and facilitate opportunities to sponsor partner events, to engage and do systematic joint account planning and selling • Manage joint sales progress by territory and by team and track pipeline, win rates etc.; learn and continue to adapt the joint sales strategy and plays EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • 5+ years’ sales experience in either a direct sales or channel sales role preferably within the Finance industry • Must have previous experience selling within the cloud-based software industry, preference will be given for experience within the financial services industry • Experience working in the Salesforce ecosystem with good working knowledge of the platform and solutions is strongly preferred • Strong sales, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to travel throughout assigned region • Ability to work well in a team environment and interact effectively with support staff • Strong computer skills (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) • Travel may be required This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English. This position is an exempt position and the range for this position for New York City, Seattle and the San Francisco Bay Area-based roles is $96,000.00-$123,000.00 For New York state (outside New York City), Washington state (outside Seattle), California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area), and Colorado-based roles, the anticipated base salary range for this position is $83,000.00-$114,000.00 Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the applicant’s actual geographic location during the hiring process.
