• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for a CDC multi-year public health evaluation initiative • Organize, direct, and manage all contract activities to ensure successful execution, compliance, and delivery of high-quality evaluation products • Engage regularly with senior government officials • Oversee resources and schedules, ensuring accountability for meeting contractual requirements and performance standards • Manage program budgeting, execution, and customer relationship management

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree preferred: Ph.D. in Public Health, Health Sciences, Evaluation, or a related field is highly desirable
  • 5 years of relevant experience supporting CDC, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), or other federal public health agencies with program evaluation initiatives
  • Experience supporting Diabetes prevention programs preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experience leading an evaluation project or national evaluation
  • Experience conducting a national assessment of a program or project’s inputs, activities, and outputs to determine its value or worth and to improve the program
  • Experience developing a large-scale program logic model
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint) efficiently and effectively
  • Previous experience working with government procedures and guidelines

Within this team, the CS Core Programs PMO plays a critical role in driving the operating rhythm and execution of Samsara’s Customer Success organization. As a Senior Program Manager I, you will lead and deliver large-scale, cross-functional programs that support strategic CS priorities, including, retention and risk reviews, cross-functional alignment and operational scalability. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and business acumen, a passion for building scalable processes, and a proven track record of leading complex programs in fast-paced environments.
