Senior Sports Travel Manager

Performance Travel

• Manage domestic and international travel bookings including flights, accommodation, car hire, transfers, visas, and insurance for sporting teams, athletes, and staff • Oversee complex itineraries including flights, accommodation, transport, meals, and team logistics • Provide expert advice on routes, airline products, fare options, and travel requirements • Work closely with leading sporting brands, professional teams, and national bodies to understand and meet their travel requirements • Manage group bookings, ticketing, changes, and documentation using industry-standard travel systems • Deliver a high‑touch, client‑focused service experience • Handle last‑minute changes, disruptions, and urgent travel requests with calm, professional efficiency • Maintain strong relationships with travellers and internal stakeholders • Provide proactive solutions for disruptions, schedule changes, and urgent travel needs • Ensure compliance with duty‑of‑care, travel policies, and relevant regulatory requirements

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a sport travel consultant/agent
  • Experience arranging international tours, training camps, or multi‑leg sporting itineraries (desirable)
  • Advanced GDS proficiency (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo essential)
  • Strong understanding of airline fare structures, reissue processes, and ticketing rules
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex itineraries and high‑volume corporate travel
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with strong organisational discipline
  • Calm under pressure and capable of delivering solutions quickly
  • Knowledge of global travel requirements (visas, baggage, entry rules, etc.)
