E-Commerce Assistant

• Platform Management: Manage and optimize day-to-day operations on Zalando (zDirect) and Otto (Partner Connect), including inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotions. • Listing Excellence: Oversee product creation and listing optimization, ensuring all data is accurate, SEO-friendly, and aligned with the specific requirements of Zalando and Otto. • Account Health: Monitor and maintain account health and performance metrics, ensuring full compliance with platform policies and resolving any operational issues. • Content & Marketing: Create and manage high-quality brand content to enhance product visibility and improve customer engagement and conversion rates on both marketplaces. • Case Management: Handle communication and support cases with Zalando and Otto partner support to resolve technical or fulfillment issues efficiently. • Marketplace Trends: Maintain a strong understanding of the European e-commerce landscape, specifically focusing on Zalando’s and Otto’s algorithm changes, category trends, and best practices. • Logistics & Fulfillment: Oversee storage and fulfillment processes (Partner Program / Connected Retail), monitoring inbound shipments, restocking, and inventory performance. • Data Analysis: Analyze sales performance and Buy Box competition, implementing data-driven strategies to increase sales and market share.

Job Requirements

  • Marketplace Expertise: Proven ability to navigate Zalando zDirect and/or Otto Partner Connect.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret marketplace metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize listings and account health.
  • Meticulous Work Ethic: Ensures product data and attributes are managed with high attention to detail to reduce errors and optimize search results.
  • Communication: Communicates clearly and professionally with platform support teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Demonstrates quick thinking and a proactive approach, particularly when dealing with technical platform issues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, API changes, and evolving e-commerce platform requirements.
  • Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work comfortably both independently (remote) and within a team.
