Job Description

Customer Support Representative

Twist Bioscience

• Respond to and resolve product, service and order inquiries and problems via email, chat and phone by: • identifying the cause of the problem • collaborating with other stakeholders to develop a solution • presenting the solution to the customer • following up to ensure the customer is completely satisfied. • Process sales purchase orders by entering and validating the accuracy of the information provided by customers and sales staff. Resolve any errors effectively and efficiently. Some orders require an advanced understanding of Twist’s product line to process. • Provide information and guidance to help customers: • decide which product to buy • navigate and use our ecommerce website • understand the status of their order • Stay current on the status of key account orders currently in the production pipeline and provide proactive updates to internal stakeholders. • Generate sales quotes for sales reps within Salesforce quote to cash system. • For Singapore position: In addition to responsibilities listed above, provide guidance on Asia region import / export logistics and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences or related field.
  • 1-2 years work experience in biotech industry.
  • 2+ years customer-facing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, familiarity with G-Suite, preferably including Salesforce

The primary purpose of this position is to provide customer service to members who are seeking or utilizing ASH's Fitness programs. Remote Worker Guidelines - Remote Worker Guidelines: This position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home (WFH) in a designated work area with company-provided technology equipment. This WFH position requires you have a stable connection to your Internet Service Provider with the ability to participate by video in online meetings over a reliable and consistent network (minimum 50 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speed.) Responsibilities - Receives and responds to telephone calls from members, fitness clubs and health plans. - Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of all ASH Fitness products and programs. - Answers incoming calls on the ASH telephone system in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner. - Ascertains the nature of the call and records information in the appropriate system. - Provides answers to member questions by following standard policies and procedures. - Coordinates collection of necessary information, including member co-pays or payments when necessary. - Forwards documentation to Research Team for follow up if issue requires additional action. - Researches unique questions using all available resources. Refers difficult issues to Supervisor for appropriate answers. - Handles all issues requiring additional action within the necessary timeframes. - Manages time to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and appropriate follow up is conducted in a timely manner. - Attends and participates in meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork among department personnel. - Responds to requests from other ASH department personnel, contacting clubs and members as required. - Performs other duties as assigned. - Complies with all policies and standards.
