Role Description Illumination Works is looking for an AWS Cloud Developer / Engineer to provide advanced and cross-technology engineering through all phases of the technology/project lifecycle. In this role, you will be accountable for the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-based applications, monitoring performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately as well as mentoring and coaching others to establish and improve processes and procedures. - Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure components that meet SLA, DR, monitoring, cost, and performance requirements of the solution - Debug technical issues inside a complex stack involving virtualization, containers, and serverless architectures - Use GitHub Actions to establish Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipelines, including supporting security scans - Build and deploy applications on cloud platforms - Leverage cloud services to build scalable and efficient software solutions - Support and maintain infrastructure solutions utilizing required tools and technologies Qualifications - Must have 6 years cloud experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years as a cloud engineer with AWS including Lambda, EKS, API Gateways - Proficient in programming languages and frameworks, such as Python and Java, and serverless computing models like AWS Lambda - Experience developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources - Experience with designing, developing, and deploying applications on cloud platforms - Experience implementing and leveraging cloud services to build scalable and efficient software solutions - Experience with networking in the cloud to include network security groups, user defined routes, application gateways, and load balancers - Experience with Kubernetes Service configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting - Experience deploying Docker containers that require GPU resources - Understanding of PKI to include generating certificate requests, provisioning certificates in PKCS7 and PKCS12 formats, configuring CA bundles and Windows certificate repositories, generating self-signed certificates, and troubleshooting PKI-related errors and issues with cloud resources - Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or comparable academic discipline - Experience with GovCloud or CloudOne desirable - AWS solutions architect or AWS Engineer certification desired - Must have or be willing to obtain Secret Clearance (this requires US citizenship) - Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen Requirements - Integrating PKI with Lambda functions - Managing API endpoints inbound and outbound for system interface management - Familiar with DAG principles for dependency management of functions and services - Experience with AWS Glue and AWS Batch - Developing capabilities that chain diverse services together to complete a process - Developing and deploying in a Continuous ATO security framework (DoD) Benefits - Market competitive salary - Generous PTO package - Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and life insurance plans - 401K - Short/long-term disability insurance - A fun and engaging culture - Training opportunities to keep you up to speed on the latest technologies

• Define the multi-year cloud architecture strategy that enables OneStream’s transformation to a fully SaaS, cloud-native platform. • Establish and maintain architectural principles, patterns, frameworks, and governance models across all products and services. • Evaluate and guide decisions on global infrastructure, compute layers, storage, networking, resiliency, multi-region deployment, and sovereign cloud support. • Drive modernization of the OneStream platform, including containerization, microservices, distributed systems design, and cloud-native application architectures. • Lead architectural design of core platform services, APIs, data layers, extensibility frameworks, and Marketplace infrastructure. • Define and guide execution for foundational capabilities such as multi-tenancy, observability, security, event-driven workflows, and global high availability. • Serve as the organization’s leading expert in Azure services, cloud infrastructure, AKS, compute/storage optimization, and enterprise cloud security. • Architect scalable, reliable, cost-efficient cloud environments aligned with SaaS delivery and operational excellence. • Define performance engineering, capacity planning, and scalability strategies for large-scale, mission-critical cloud workloads.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud financial management framework across our SaaS offering: forecasting, budgeting, actuals vs. plan, cost allocation, unit economics (e.g., cost per customer, cost per node/tenant/instance). • Lead cloud cost optimization programs: e.g., reserved commitments/savings plans, right-sizing, idle resource elimination, tagging and chargeback/cleanup initiatives. • Partner with Engineering/CloudOps/Product teams to integrate cloud cost visibility into operations (dashboards, KPIs, alerts) and instill. FinOps culture (cost awareness, cost accountability). • Drive reporting for executive leadership and the board: highlight cost-trends, anomalies, savings progress, risk of overruns, and tradeoffs between cost, performance and growth. • Define and enforce governance and controls around cloud cost and usage: tagging standards, cost-allocation models, approval workflows for new services, cloud contract negotiation/commitment reviews. • Lead a team of FinOps analysts/engineers: hire, coach, set strategy, measure effectiveness and build influence across the organization. • Collaborate with Finance/FP&A to ensure that cloud costs are correctly reflected in financial planning, customer-unit economics, pricing discussions, and business case modelling for new products or global expansion. • Stay abreast of public-cloud provider pricing models (AWS, Azure, GCP), emerging cloud-cost tools, and FinOps best practices, bring innovation in cost management automation, tagging enforcement, anomaly detection and internal chargeback. • Support M&A, product launches or major cloud migrations by providing financial modelling of cloud cost impact, run-rate changes, and forecasting scenarios. • Own the narrative around cloud cost in the SaaS business: translate technical cloud-usage metrics into business implications for growth, margin and scalability.

Role Description We are looking for someone that is a generalist at heart, one who is curious, appreciates complexity, knows or wants to learn when to step back and when to dive deep. We call this role a Cloud Service Reliability Engineer. The Cloud Service Reliability Engineer will be responsible for effective design, execution, and maintenance of systems implemented on premise or in the cloud, primarily focused on: - Identity and access management - Cloud computing services/integrations - Data analytics technologies Responsibilities of the Cloud Service Reliability Engineer include: - Establishing technology product specifications and collaborating with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation. - Deploying, supporting, and monitoring new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks. - Driving improvements to processes and design enhancements for automation to continuously improve the production environment. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years of experience in automating infrastructure, service delivery, and engineering site reliability, maintaining infrastructure on premise and in cloud environment. - Product does not really matter (any of Puppet, Chef, Fabric, Ansible, Salt is fine). - Proven experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), PaaS, SaaS experience. - Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Jira and other CI/CD tools). - Configuration management and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) experience. - Expertise in Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), and Active Directory Certificate Services.
