Role Description We are seeking a smart Operations Manager with a background in digital marketing or agency operations. The ideal candidate must have experience managing people and leading by example. As well as being capable of building and executing clear systems and processes, the individual will be responsible for working on a wide range of projects and coordinating our organization’s operations. You won’t be doing robotic, mindless tasks. You’ll need to be creative, bright, flexible, proactive, and strategic. Being able to learn fast and grow even faster will be an enormous plus, and no two days will be the same. What you’ll do or be responsible for: - Improving operational management systems, processes and best practices - Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way - Formulating strategic and operational objectives - Managing budgets and forecasts - High-level resource planning and making strategic resource management decisions - Developing, implementing, and reviewing operational procedures - Learning our approach to digital marketing, and then performing as the ambassador for that approach - Ensuring all systems operate smoothly and align with our quality standards - Maximising the efficiency of all business procedures - Motivating and inspiring individuals to improve their performance and success Qualifications - Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role - Good knowledge of operations management - 3+ years of management experience (people and processes) - Exceptional communication skills - Analytical skills that help turn data into the right decisions - Familiarity with business and financial principles - Leadership ability - Outstanding organisational skills - Experience in a digital marketing company is a huge plus - Detail oriented Requirements You will be required to undertake a trial period before being promoted into a full-time Operations Manager. You will be trained by our Head of Operations for the first three months and will work closely with them on a daily basis. Starting salary: $2,500 USD - $3,500 USD depending on experience.
