Job Description
Director of Partnerships, Strategic Alliances
Persado
Who We Are Salary Range: $165,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year base salary (depends on experience, location, business needs, and market demand). Persado is an innovative Marketing AI platform that integrates high-performance creative generation with automated review of compliance risks. Used by 8 out of the top 10 US banks today, the Persado platform orchestrates and facilitates interactions between a bank's marketing team and its compliance team as they generate collateral that balances performance and compliance risk. Persado is at the forefront of helping marketing teams in highly regulated industries—such as banking, insurance, and financial services—manage content with speed, compliance, and confidence. Our platform empowers enterprise marketing departments to generate and deliver personalised timely, compliant content across channels with unparalleled efficiency and oversight. As an employer, Persado is committed to creating a place where everyone’s unique perspective is valued. We understand that our team members and our inclusive culture are what make Persado special. Persado is proud to be named on Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies list in 2020 and Built In’s Best Places To Work in 2021, 2022 & 2024. What We Are Looking For We are creating a new role for a revenue-carrying Director of Partnerships, Strategic Alliances to own and scale a portfolio of high-potential global relationships. This is not a channel enablement or co-marketing role. This is a quota-carrying GTM ownership role responsible for generating net-new revenue directly through partners — from zero to multi-million dollar production. You will report directly to the CRO and act as a builder: shaping partner motions, defining revenue programs, and proving the model before it scales. This role is primarily remote but requires occasional travel within the New York area for in-person collaboration at the company office (up to once per week). What You Will Work On - Own a portfolio of strategic alliances with full responsibility for direct sourced ARR. - Build partner GTM motions from scratch, identifying ICP overlap, defining joint offers, and launching repeatable revenue programs. - Create and execute joint sales plays that drive measurable pipeline and closed revenue. - Lead partner business planning, QBRs, pipeline governance, and revenue forecasting. - Act as the Persado field general inside each partner, embedding Persado into their commercial motion, not just their ecosystem. - Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, and Enablement to operationalize alliances. - Influence product roadmap and commercial packaging based on partner-led market insight. - Represent Persado with executive-level partner stakeholders and drive C-suite alignment on both sides. What You Bring - 10+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, or complex enterprise sales roles within SaaS / MarTech / FinTech / AdTech ecosystems. - Proven track record of building partnerships from zero to $5M+ in net-new ARR. - Experience owning a quota and carrying a revenue number directly tied to partner performance. - Deep understanding of enterprise buying cycles, regulated industries, and multi-stakeholder selling. - Ability to design partner GTM motions, not just manage relationships. - Executive-level presence with the ability to influence internally and externally. - Based on the East Coast or able to travel frequently across major enterprise markets. What We Offer Achieve your life goals and work goals at Persado: - Persado’s hybrid working model empowers both remote and in-office work equitably - Competitive and equitable compensation - Generous benefits packages globally - 401k matching (USA); Pension Scheme (Certain EU locations) to prepare for your future - We encourage professional growth through our dedicated enablement and training teams, as well as on demand tools and resources - Employee Enrichment Fund to pursue a passion or upgrade your home office - Structured onboarding program to ensure a confident start and long-term success for new hires - Strong emphasis on career development and mobility, continuous feedback loops and performance management - Flexible time off to support work-life harmony (including Summer Fridays and a one week Winter Holiday Break) - #PersadoCares: 2 paid Volunteer days per year and charitable donation matching - Robust Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives; culture month celebrations, commitment to bias-free recruitment, community ERGs, and more Valuing diversity at Persado means recognizing and respecting human differences and similarities. Persado is committed to diversity with respect to all aspects of employment. All decisions regarding recruitment, hiring, promotion, compensation, employee training and development, and all other terms and conditions of employment, will be made without regard to race, religious beliefs, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, physical and mental disability, age, ancestry or place of origin. Kindly submit your CV in English
