PACS
• Develop, implement, and monitor clinical programs to meet professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements • Support facilities in maintaining compliance with State and Federal Medicare/Medicaid regulations • Provide leadership in infection prevention and disease control, including outbreak management and immunization programs • Guide DONs and Administrators through Plans of Correction (POC) and Allegations of Compliance (AOC) following surveys • Conduct regional training for Directors of Nursing, MDS teams, and interdisciplinary leadership • Evaluate staffing structures, nursing PPD, and clinical workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes • Oversee MDS coordinators, RAC audits, and 5-Star quality improvement initiatives • Lead monthly Regional DON and MDS meetings focused on compliance and performance metrics • Support risk management, policy development, and clinical documentation review • Serve as Interim Director of Nursing when necessary
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s preferred
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Strong clinical leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
- Regional or multi-site oversight experience preferred
- Experience with CMS/OIG surveys, risk management, and infection prevention strongly preferred
- MDS certification highly desirable
- Proficiency in PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
- Comfortable with frequent regional travel.

The Medical Director for Oncology & Genomics is a senior position for a physician with both laboratory and clinical experience who will serve as an expert on the clinical use of testing in solid and liquid cancer as well as the understanding the hematologic aspects of the testing space.
