As a Math Instructor, you will be expected to: - Instruct small “core” groups of students in their mathcore skills to promote long-term understanding of topics and top scores in their college readiness exams (ACT & SAT). - Track your student’s progress as they move through Vanguard’s unique multi-phase curriculum, engaging students in individualized growth and improvement opportunities along the way. - Model professionalism and strong organizational skills by replying to students promptly, maintaining and updating student lesson schedules on our online platform, and holding students accountable for assignments. - Spearheaded the development and creative execution of ever-evolving lesson plans and curriculum. - Mentor middle and high school students with empathy and an innate understanding that the college application process is becoming increasingly competitive and stressful. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or related STEM field (Master’s or higher preferred; open to those entry-level). - Teaching experience in math and/or experience working in a college-level tutoring center (1+ years). - GPA of 3.5 or higher. - Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites. - Access to a reliable internet connection and a workspace with minimal noise/distraction. The ideal candidate will also possess: - Experience teaching at the college or community college level. - Robust understanding of classroom pedagogy, and the ability to create customized, engaging lesson plans that use practical, real-world examples to inspire a love for learning. - Desire to help students recognize, reach for, and realize their fullest potential. - A dynamic and outgoing personality. - The ability to work both independently and in a team environment. - Mastery of SAT and ACT Math, especially the following subjects: - Pre-Algebra. - Algebra I & II. - Geometry. - Trigonometry. - Statistics. • Define and own the long-range product vision and strategy spanning TEM, ITFM, FinOps, and AI spend management, including market positioning, roadmap, and competitive differentiation. • Lead, manage, and hold accountable the combined product and engineering organization, establishing one unified operating rhythm and shared set of priorities. • Build, operate, and continuously improve the AI-driven development lifecycle (AIDLC), moving concepts from discovery through deployment at materially faster cycle times than traditional software development methods. • Architect and deliver the product foundation required to support an outcome-based commercial model, including the measurement systems and platform capabilities that tie customer results to contractual commitments. • Recruit, develop, and retain senior product and engineering leadership, including domain experts in IT finance, FinOps, and enterprise SaaS. • Partner with the CEO and executive team on company-wide strategy, capital allocation, pricing, and go-to-market alignment. • Establish and maintain engineering standards covering quality, security, scalability, and platform reliability appropriate for enterprise customers. • Govern the company's technical and product relationship with the ServiceNow ecosystem, including integration depth, platform dependencies, and the architectural decisions that preserve optionality beyond it. • Represent product and engineering to customers, prospects, the board of directors, and investors as required. • Establish key performance indicators for product adoption, engineering velocity, platform reliability, and customer outcomes, and report against them on a regular cadence.

• Define and lead the technical strategy for optimization use cases across Datacor's product portfolio. • Translate complex, real-world operational constraints into rigorous mathematical models. • Design, implement, and benchmark optimization algorithms including exact methods, metaheuristics (simulated annealing, tabu search, genetic algorithms), and commercial solvers (OR-Tools, Gurobi, CPLEX, or equivalent). • Make principled tradeoffs between solution quality, computational cost, and real-time responsiveness. • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and design teams to ensure the solver becomes a solution that real users can understand, trust, and act on every day. • Drive end-to-end delivery of optimization solutions from prototype to production working across cross-functional teams. • Integrate optimization engines into production software via APIs and enterprise data pipelines. • Serve as the internal authority on optimization methods communicating algorithm design, performance, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and business audiences. • Stay ahead of advances in OR, combinatorial optimization, and applied AI and bring new ideas and thinking that push our capabilities forward.
