About the role: As a Supplier Performance Engineering Intern, you will work as part of a team of Engineers and Supply Chain Professionals to improve quality from our suppliers. You will collect and analyze data to identify performance trends. You will also work as part of a team to drive corrective action with our suppliers. You will report to the WPB/OMS SPE Senior Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time remote position for the summer. Key Responsibilities: - Assist Westinghouse engineers and supplier contacts to understand and analyze Quality Defect Notifications. - Perform trend analysis of Quality Defects for group of top suppliers. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions in Quality Corrective Action Qualifications: - Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain management - Minimum GPA of 3.0 - Completed Sophomore year of college - Organize, analyze and present large sets of data - Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding and electronic assembly We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
