Commercial Director

Exoticca

Role Description We are looking for a person to lead commercial development and expand Exoticca’s presence in the Mexican market. This is a field sales position focused on prospecting, opening, and managing Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors within the assigned territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, strengthening commercial relationships, and achieving established revenue targets. - Design and execute the commercial strategy within the assigned territory. - Prospect and onboard new Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors. - Manage and develop existing accounts with a focus on sustainable growth. - Represent Exoticca at trade fairs, industry events, training sessions, and FAM trips. - Deliver commercial presentations and product training sessions (both in-person and virtual). - Identify group sales opportunities and strategic partnerships. - Manage sales pipeline and reporting through Salesforce CRM. - Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, HQ) to ensure alignment and service excellence. - Prepare weekly sales activity reports and monthly expense reports. - Meet and exceed established KPIs. Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the travel industry in Mexico. - Active portfolio of Travel Agencies or Travel Advisors in the local market. - Availability for frequent travel within the assigned territory. - Experience in consultative sales and long-term relationship development. - Autonomous, results-oriented profile with an entrepreneurial mindset. - CRM experience (Salesforce preferred). - Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. - Ability to adapt to dynamic, fast-growing environments.
