• Lead a small remote team while staying hands-on: design, implement, and review production-grade code. • Own the architecture and delivery of core DCA infrastructure services, from design through production rollout and continuous improvement. • Build and operate high-scale SaaS services on AWS, with strong emphasis on reliability, performance, and operational excellence. • Design and maintain message-driven components using pub/sub systems and asynchronous processing. • Drive engineering excellence: CI/CD, testing strategy, release safety, monitoring/alerting, and postmortems. • Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Product, and Operations on priorities, interfaces, and dependencies. • Mentor and grow engineers via technical leadership, feedback; support hiring as needed. • Act as an escalation point for production issues: investigate, mitigate, and lead root-cause analysis.

• The Product Definition Engineering Technical Leader will be responsible for Technical Leadership of Product Definition engineering development, implementation, launch, continuous improvement, and expansion of digital product suite related to project delivery. • The person will collaborate with Engineering to develop and prioritize configuration management decision making related to features, product-market fit, and broader digital product roadmap. • Provides the day-to-day team/technical leadership of the process. • Track compliance to policies and procedures and resolving or escalating any compliance issues. • Facilitate PDE change management process and audits. • Facilitate communication and engaging business and IT management to encourage PDE efforts and value propositions. • Be responsible for successful implementation, initial support and maintenance of configuration management information system (CMIS) • Engage with strategic projects to ensure configuration management can deliver the required CMIS functionality within project periods. • Review and approve all changes to the CMIS infrastructure where applicable. • Review and approve significant IT infrastructure changes to ensure impacts to configuration management data are addressed. • Mentor the organization of PDE services, concepts, policies, and procedures • Provide and approve all requirements, use cases, user stories, etc. to support new or improving CMIS functionality. • Review and approve all requests for the administrator log on credentials and access rights to the CMIS infrastructure. • Review and publish configuration management reporting.

• Design, build, and evolve database-centric components within Tonic’s structural data platform • Make pragmatic architectural decisions that balance durability, performance, and maintainability • Develop and maintain database connectors for the Structural platform • Improve performance and maintainability of the product • Troubleshoot complex production issues across multiple database technologies • Investigate edge cases and system behaviors that require both patience and precision • Author thoughtful technical designs and documentation • Help the team reason through tradeoffs and long-term implications • Partner with Product to translate requirements into scalable solutions • Work closely with Support and Solutions Architects to deeply understand issues before implementing fixes • Raise the bar through code quality, technical judgment, and strong engineering habits • Bring informed perspectives on modern tooling, including AI-assisted development
