THE ROLE You are not just a messenger. You are the vital link between our clients and our creative engine. As our Account Manager, you are the daily face of Prospekt for your assigned brand partners. You will own the rhythm of the client relationship, leading weekly status calls, gathering clear feedback, and ensuring that expectations are meticulously managed. Working closely with the Account Director and internal Project Managers, you will help turn client requests into actionable briefs, defend our creative work, and keep projects moving without compromising our standard of craft. Prospekt is based in Toronto. This role is fully remote (North America only). We care about output, collaboration, and craft no matter where you are located. WHAT YOU WILL DO Day-to-Day Client Management • Act as the primary, day-to-day contact for marketing managers and brand leads on the client side. • Lead weekly status meetings, build comprehensive contact reports, and ensure clients always know exactly where their projects stand. • Build deep trust with your clients, learning their brand voice, aesthetic preferences, and internal approval processes inside and out. Briefing and Feedback Translation • Take in raw client requests and translate them into sharp, clear, and actionable briefs for the Strategy and Creative teams. • Filter and consolidate client feedback. You don't just forward an email from a client to a designer; you interpret the feedback, ask the right clarifying questions, and protect the team from contradictory notes. • Facilitate creative reviews, helping to set the stage and contextualize the work before the Art Director or Strategist presents. Scope and Commercial Support • Keep a sharp eye on scope creep. You know exactly what is included in the Statement of Work (SOW) and are comfortable flagging to the client when a request requires additional budget. • Support the Account Director with monthly billing, retainer tracking, and drafting smaller project proposals. • Identify organic opportunities to grow the account by listening for pain points the client mentions in passing and suggesting Prospekt solutions. Cross-Functional Partnership • Partner tightly with Project Managers. While the PM runs the internal timeline and resource allocation, you run the external timeline and client approvals. • Collaborate with the Production team during live campaigns to ensure seamless asset delivery and fast response times during cultural moments, entertainment or sports-driven drops. WHO YOU ARE • You have high emotional intelligence and know how to read a room (even a virtual one) and adapt your communication style to fit the client. • You are highly organized and sweat the small stuff, ensuring no email goes unanswered and no detail slips through the cracks. • You understand the creative process. You know that good work takes time and you know how to buy that time from an anxious client. • You don't wait for the client to ask for an update; you provide it before they even think to ask. • You are firm but polite when protecting the agency’s boundaries, timelines, and scope. WHAT YOU BRING • 3–5 years of account management or client services experience within a creative, experiential, or advertising agency. • Brand marketing agency and/or experiential agency experience is required. • Experience managing day-to-day communications for retainer-based clients and integrated campaigns. • A strong understanding of digital deliverables, social campaigns, and basic creative production processes. • Experience working with modern agency tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Clickup, etc.). • A passion for sports, entertainment, lifestyle, and culture-driven brand work. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. WHAT WE OFFER • The opportunity to manage high-visibility brand accounts and global campaigns. • A collaborative environment where your voice matters in both business and creative discussions. • Growth, trust, and a culture that values execution as much as ideas. HOW TO APPLY - Fill out the provided application form and ensure all relevant questions are answered thoroughly. - Case studies/project examples must be submitted with your application to be considered. Please submit applications via this form only. Do not contact team members directly. Every application is reviewed carefully and we will reach out if there is a fit. This is not a role for passive note-takers. It is an opportunity to steer the relationships that make culture-shifting work possible.
