Description and Requirements Job Location: In Office - Clarks Summit, PA 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm Position Summary The Output Processing Operator is responsible for operating high-speed production equipment and performing computer-based processing for checks, statements, and special-handling workflows. This hybrid role requires mechanical ability, strong technical aptitude, high accuracy, and effective communication. Position works 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm in a light industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Production & Equipment Operation - Operate high‑speed inserters, MICR printers, check inserters, folders, and copiers. - Load materials, monitor machine performance, and make necessary adjustments. - Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, ink/toner replacement, minor troubleshooting). - Ensure all machine output meets accuracy and quality standards. Technical & Special Handling Duties - Process special handling tasks: alternate check processing, cancellations, matching, notarizing, and mass certified mail. - Use computer systems to retrieve jobs, verify data, process files, and resolve workflow issues. - Maintain accurate electronic logs: check inventories, postage reports, meter logs, presort documentation, and reconciliation records. - Process check and statement files with precise counts and documentation. Quality Assurance & Compliance - Perform QA checks on all printed, inserted, and mailed materials. - Ensure exact counts for checks, statements, and mail pieces. - Complete and maintain USPS-compliant presort and mailing documents. - Prepare spoiled postage reports, meter replenishments, and cancellation records. - Follow all internal controls, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Communication, Teamwork & Service - Provide strong customer service to internal and external partners. - Communicate issues, job status, and carryover notes clearly. - Assist in training, support peers, and seek additional work during slow periods. - Work collaboratively and maintain a professional environment. Decision-Making & Problem Resolution - Make sound operational decisions to meet production commitments. - Take corrective action on machine or technical issues and escalate when needed. - Assist in resolving root-cause problems to maintain workflow reliability. Required Skills & Qualifications - Ability to operate high‑speed production equipment. - Strong technical skills and comfort with computer-based workflows. - High attention to detail and accuracy in counts and documentation. - Strong communication skills; ability to follow detailed instructions. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Physical Requirements - Pushing, pulling, standing, bending, and repetitive motion required. - Lifting between 25 lbs and 50 lbs. - Classified as light industrial. The expected salary range for this position is $41,600 - $45,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.
