The Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting cross functional teams and helping to drive accuracy and consistency within the US Foods Product Information Management (PIM) Catalog by developing and supporting training on product set up and maintenance, identifying validations and process improvements for the setup and maintenance of all new and existing items through the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) and manual data imports. The Operations Analyst will provide support to the Sr Master Data Business and System Analyst in identifying opportunity and supporting optimization and training for the master data space. This position is accountable to support all coordinator and supervisor goals by capitalizing on their expertise in the systems and process. This position requires a combination of technical, analytical, and collaborative skills to effectively manage product data and support the company's goals. he work for this position is completely remote anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to ensure timely and accurate setup of new items in the system, maintaining and updating active product catalogs to provide complete and accurate information for customers when ordering products on the ecommerce site. - Serve as the primary point of contact for the PIM for the Acquisition team. Manage the project initiatives, collaborate with markets supporting their set up needs and delegating files to the team in support of the deadlines. - Provide project management for product set up and maintenance projects, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver on time to meet business needs. - Develop and maintain policies and procedures for Syndigo and PIM Enable platforms, ensuring operational consistency and efficiency. - Partner with the Managed Services supervisors and leads, serve as SME and provide ongoing coaching and support for the PIM and PIM Direct Managed Services team. - Provide comprehensive support for the PIM Questions & PIM EDI email boxes, addressing a wide range of inquiries, issues, training needs, and assistance requirements. - Design and deliver training sessions for new PIM employees, providing comprehensive support for PIM Enable. Maintain training documentation to support updates or changes to the system or process. Deliver training to existing teams for updates and changes. - Design and deliver training and support documentation for cross-functional business partners, including the requestor community. - Implement GDSN standards and trouble-shoot internal/external compliance issues related to data synchronization initiatives with Suppliers - Own and support the relationships with StockYards and USF Direct supporting their needs and providing training to their teams as needed. - Facilitate support and communication across cross-functional teams, including FSQ, Legal, Data Governance, and National Accounts. - Provide technical support for GDSN data synchronization issues, including troubleshooting publications across numerous GDSN platforms, submitting ticket requests and validating changes made - Partner with the Sr Master Data Business and System Analyst and Process Analyst Master Data to develop roadmap on system requirements, troubleshooting, and enhancements across the master data space. - Participate in IT meetings for PIM Enable and Syndigo systems with an objective to help drive bug fixes, enhancements and streamlining the processes for users. - Optimize and streamline mass create and mass maintenance processes for projects with large item counts. - Responsible for obtaining, analyzing and reporting progress/metrics for projects. - Collaborate and support updates and testing PIM functional testing in the QA and/or Production environment following existing test criteria and procedures, and provide feedback and documentation of findings and possible resolution - Other duties as assigned by manager SUPERVISION: - N/A RELATIONSHIPS - Internal: Master Data team, MOXe team, Category Management team, IT team, Regional/local division leadership - External: Vendors, GS1 US, Integrated 3rd Party Solution Providers, GDSN Data Pools, Managed Services WORK ENVIRONMENT - Remote: This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - 5 years of experience in PIM or Master Data required - Experience in making data driven decisions and having the ability to make recommendations to internal stakeholders - Project Management Experience with demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects - Proficient in GS1 standards, practices and data synchronization implementation - Strong business/interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups and cross functional teams internally and externally - Experience training, coaching and mentoring other associates. - Strong Excel skills with data manipulation, ability to utilize filters on large data sets, and create pivot tables and VLOOKUP required. - Experience creating SOPs required - Ability to work with all levels of management - Strong planning and organizational skills - Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. Must clearly and concisely articulate business concepts and issues to management - Advanced knowledge of PIM system, mass update functionality, and New Item Setup procedures - Proven ability to research, organize, and multi-task in a fast-paced deadline driven environment - Demonstrates a proven ability to make decisions through analytical/problem solving skills EDUCATION - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING - N/A LICENSES - N/A PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 2-4 years of foodservice/supply chain management support or related industry experience - Ability to observe, document, and make recommendations on process improvements and execute recommendations. - Firm understanding of continuous improvement principles and the identification of waste in processes. - Ability to lead change, align multiple teams, and influence various levels of the organization without direct authority. - Ability to manage and prioritize work delegation to meet critical workstream deadlines and work calmly under pressure. - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and interact with a variety of associates (all levels), external customers, and vendor community in a supportive and positive manner. - Strong attention to detail and flexibility to work within an environment of changing priorities. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Substantial record of success and innovation working in teams - Understanding of the company’s business as it relates to product information - Understanding of foodservice and retail related products - May require occasional travel (<5%) - Must be available to work weekends when needed.
