Job Requirements
- 10+ years of non-internship experience in software engineering
- At least 5 focused in DevOps
- Deep, hands-on expertise designing, implementing and operating cloud-based systems in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Proven track record defining and scaling software delivery best practices
- Passion for reliable, scalable, observable software
- Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
- Strong proficiency in containerization and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar language
- Solid understanding of fundamental networking concepts
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity in complex infrastructure environments
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing disaster recovery strategies
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineers at multiple levels of seniority
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

About the Role As a NinjaOne DevOps Engineer, you are a key member of a smart and challenging DevOps team. What You’ll be Doing - Innovative Infrastructure Solutions: Design, develop, and deploy secure, compliant infrastructure in AWS. • Developing modern, secure cloud and platform solutions in agile DevSecOps environments • Automating and implementing in-house security tooling for CI/CD pipelines • Building reusable CI/CD security components and templates (GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab) • Integrating and operating SAST and DAST solutions within CI/CD pipelines • Advising our clients on the appropriate use of cloud security services, taking into account effort, cost, maintenance, risk, and compliance aspects • Identifying common attack vectors and proactively hardening applications and infrastructure • Acting as a security advocate within engineering teams and promoting secure-by-design approaches
