Reliability Engineer, Controls
Vantage Data Centers
• Ensure control systems meet design intent and perform without issues during testing phases of new construction • Review construction equipment submittals, identify potential deficiencies, and evaluate maintenance feasibility • Attend factory witness testing to verify and validate equipment functionality • Review site commissioning plans and ensure thoroughness of control system startup testing • Design maintenance programs to maximize equipment operability and efficiency while minimizing lifecycle costs • Design maintenance programs to minimize control systems maintenance complexity and reduce maintenance down time • Perform system component upgrades to ensure reliability and combat obsolescence • Develop risk management plans that will anticipate and mitigate reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operation • Provide full technical and troubleshooting support to Site Operations teams when responding to control system failures • Provide system reliability feedback to the Design Engineering teams for future design considerations • Analyze and process system collected data and recommend improvements to site operations and maintenance strategies • Ensure data communications from monitored systems remain intact and data is properly collected and stored • Work with Engineering and Construction teams to ensure the reliability of new and modified installations • Design appropriate site response procedures based on potential control system failures • Ensure Site Teams are proficient with Building Management Systems and control system operations • Provide guidance and technical support to Site Teams as requested • Perform Root-Cause Failure Analysis and facilitate corrective actions
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience with data center operations or related field
- PLC programming experience with Rockwell Automation, Carel and GE systems
- Experience with Ignition HMI software
- Modbus TCP/IP and RTU, BacNET and Ethernet/IP configuration knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical/Mechanical one-line diagrams

Senior DevOps/Systems Administrator

Role Description Please note: This role is contingent upon a contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award. We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to support daily operations of IT systems for a government program, ensuring stability, security, and compliance across infrastructure components. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining servers, networks, and applications in both classified and unclassified environments while adhering to Department of Defense (DoD) security standards. Job Location: Remote role – must be performed within the United States and support U.S. Eastern Time Zone hours. ICF monitors employee work locations, restricts access from foreign IP addresses, and prohibits the use of personal VPNs. Responsibilities: - Implement best in class cloud-based solutions in AWS using infrastructure as code (Terraform) - Deploy, setup, and run infrastructure configurations for various AWS and on-prem (DISA) services - Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and secure platform solutions - Manage container definitions, deployment pipelines, tuning, and troubleshooting - Work with bash, SQL, Python, and other scripting languages - Engage with technical stakeholders including but not limited to application development, networking, infrastructure, information security, risk, enterprise identity and access management, and security operations - Enable and optimize the automation of application and infrastructure environments - Collaborate to build cloud infrastructure, with an understanding of Kubernetes, Containers and serverless functions - Develop, maintain and improve continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for delivering features, fixes and system updates in development, integration and production environments. - Set up, integrate, and maintain a scalable, stable set of CI/CD tools to support development, testing, and security scanning. - Implement application metrics collection and log aggregation to provide continuous monitoring capabilities, track all aspects of the system, infrastructure, performance, application errors and roll up metrics. - Analyze functional and non-functional business requirements, translate them into technical operational requirements, and propose CI/CD pipelines with tools and plugins. - Make a big impact as part of a small team that’s pushing boundaries Qualifications - Candidate must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance. - Security+ or equivalent certification required. - 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration and support. - 3+ years of experience with containers. - 3+ years of experience in setting up CI/CD Pipelines with integration with open-source plugins. - 3+ years of experience in DevOps/Agile/Scrum environments and development. - 3+ years of experience with monitoring tools like Application Insights, Prometheus, or Datadog. - 3+ years of experience with open technologies and related Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, JIRA, including Docker, GitHub, Git and others. - 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with configuration management, cloud orchestration and automation tools with AWS environments. - 3+ years’ experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure as well as applications in AWS cloud environments. - 2+ years of experience with identifying and implementing automation for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment. - 2+ years’ experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
