Pay range: The full pay range for this role is $17.93 to $29.90 per hour. The target pay for this position is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location. Summary: Responsible for researching, designing and building overarching approach/strategy for application of Artificial Intelligence in Engineering, Procurement and Construction processes, specifications and commercial approaches. This is a 12- week remote internship. Responsibilities - Work with EPC & Technical Services stakeholders to design roadmap/approach for use of Artificial Intelligence in application of Engineering, Procurement and Construction; - Perform market analysis on how competitors are using Artificial Intelligence in evaluation of technologies and/or Levelized Cost of Energy; - Establish approach on how EDF power solutions leaders of Engineering, Procurement and Construction organizations can optimize technical specifications using Artificial Intelligence; - Draft Summaries of findings and report to VP, EPC & TS on a monthly basis (sometime more frequency); - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Must be able to work well with geographically disperse, cross functional teams and to coordinate with project developers, engineering, strategic procurement, construction, and other key EPC & TS stakeholders. - Must have proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and track progress and needs of each project and provide accurate and timely updates. - Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. - Experience with more advance modeling tools encouraged but not required. Education/Experience: - Pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or Technology discipline with related technical experience. - 3rd Year Undergrad or greater Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: - Requires in-depth knowledge of the renewable energy industry, experience in negotiations, attention to contractual details, and ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis in the context of technology deployment. Physical Requirements: - Must be able to sit or stand at computer for a reasonable length of time typing and reading. Regularly required to walk or stand. Working Conditions: - 90% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), with the remaining 10% of the time spent travelling to visit the San Diego office.
