Principal Software Engineer
Cars Commerce
• Lead the cars.com domain at Cars Commerce • Build novel Full Stack solutions for car buyers and sellers • Advocate best practices in software design and engineering quality • Mentor and support engineers across all levels • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals • Drive technical excellence and evaluate emerging technologies
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience architecting high-traffic, large-scale distributed software systems
- Knowledge of how to craft a vision for a technical platform
- Ability to create training programs to onboard engineers onto new technologies
- Technical knowledge from working with web and mobile apps
- Experience being a technical leader in a 100% remote environment
- AI Agent development experience and/or knowledge (Bonus)
