Cloud Architect – Managed Services
3Cloud
• Work with 3Cloud’s Managed Services leadership coordinating services functions and client experience across service lines, focused on managed services • Biweekly or monthly syncs with other peer Architects to align on technical solutions, and team collaboration opportunities that help the team advance their skills and competencies • As an SME within Managed Services, provide support to the solution architecture presales team to align presales and delivery expectations around the solution definition and delivery execution (participate in offering committees) • Serve as coach in a player-coach model to help support the upskilling of team members • Helping foster and build relationships between team members both internal and external to our 3Cloud team (including Sales, Clients, & MSFT) • Help the team reach billable targets by assisting with breaking through project blockers • Help facilitate change orders and project extensions with SA Team when in-flight projects calls for it • Help drive alignment where there are technical mesh points between other 3Cloud practice areas by providing technical oversight and driving cross-practice solutions that enable our customers
Job Requirements
- Ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in technology roles spanning technical engineering, operations, and support
- Previous experience acting as the technical delivery oversight on multiple client engagements with strong consultative skills
- Azure experience and certification including the following:
- Microsoft Azure (Compute, Network, Storage, WVD, etc.)
- Migrating or deploying infrastructure using the Azure Portal or Infrastructure as Code
- Familiarity with scripting languages, deployment automation, Azure DevOps
- Experience with tools for managing Cost, Security, and Compliance in the Public Cloud
- Experience with Public Cloud services: Policy, Cost Management, Directory Services, Monitor/Log Analytics, Security Center
- Keep apprised of the latest technologies and how they may impact existing 3Cloud offerings
- Understanding of cloud ecosystem and leading-edge cloud emerging technologies.
- Performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation techniques.
- Strong analytical problem-solving ability.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a virtual project team
