Role Description We are hiring a Corporate and Compliance Paralegal on behalf of a leading Software/SaaS company client in the EdTech space. You will support the organization’s legal, compliance, and contract management functions. This role helps maintain accurate legal documentation, supports ongoing compliance initiatives, and ensures contracts and corporate records are properly organized, up to date, and easily accessible. - Compliance & Regulatory Support - Support compliance efforts related to data privacy, security, and regulatory standards - Maintain documentation for audits, certifications, and internal reviews - Assist in documenting internal policies, controls, and compliance procedures - Coordinate with external counsel and compliance partners as needed - Corporate Governance & Records - Maintain corporate records, entity documentation, and required filings - Assist with annual compliance obligations, registrations, and renewals - Support the preparation and organization of board and governance materials - Contract & Document Administration - Support the preparation, review, and management of contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and amendments, under attorney guidance - Maintain an organized, centralized contract repository with proper version control - Monitor contract timelines, renewals, obligations, and key milestones - Assist sales and partnership teams with contract-related documentation and workflows - Cross-Functional Legal Support - Provide legal and administrative support to internal teams as needed - Respond to legal-related requests in a timely, organized, and professional manner - Assist with internal reviews and risk management initiatives Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal or legal support role - Solid understanding of contracts, legal documents, and basic corporate legal processes - Experience working in SaaS, higher education, fintech, or other regulated environments - Familiarity with data privacy and security frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, or CCPA - Experience using contract lifecycle management or document management tools - Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills - Clear and professional written communication skills - Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion - Comfortable working independently in a remote work environment - Paralegal certification or equivalent training Benefits - 🏠 Work-from-home setup - 🏖️ PTO - 🎉 Paid holidays - HMO upon regularization
