• Lead design, development, and deployment of PLC and SCADA systems for utility-scale energy projects • Act as the technical authority for controls engineering, system integration, and commissioning • Develop and support: PLC programming (Schneider Electric preferred), SCADA systems (Ignition platform), HMI development and validation, Industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3) • Oversee integration across: Inverters, BESS systems, Substations, Grid control and monitoring systems • Ensure compliance with: PPA, LGIA, and OEM testing requirements, Utility and interconnection standards • Lead and support: FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), Commissioning and system validation • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and integration issues • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, SCADA, construction, and operations • Provide oversight to vendors, contractors, and third-party integrators • Support documentation, reporting, and adherence to engineering standards

This is not a senior IC role. - Own and drive architecture integrity - Lead final design and code reviews - Influence cross-team technical direction - Ensure systems meet scale, reliability, and security standards The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on backend expertise with strong architectural judgment and mentorship capability. • Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and complete any required remedial works in line with current standards and client specifications • Support, mentor, and provide training to a team of electricians • Undertake electrical testing, inspection, installation, and maintenance as required • Demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical systems, with the ability to identify and report faults effectively • Interpret electrical and site drawings when necessary • Follow safe working practices in accordance with current health and safety legislation and all relevant regulations • Accurately complete and submit reports and certification electronically via PDA within required timeframes • Communicate professionally with clients, residents, and colleagues • Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times • Comply with all company policies and procedures
