Global Market Development Manager – Food

Hygiena

• Represent Hygiena as a subject matter expert in food safety and key market segments through industry committees, conferences, and forums. • Influence policy and contribute to regulatory dialogue, ensuring our technologies support and anticipate global regulatory expectations. • Build trusted relationships with agencies such as the U.S. FDA, USDA/FSIS, Health Canada, and LATAM ministries of agriculture. • Monitor industry trends, regulatory shifts, and customer insights to identify strategic opportunities in pre- and post-harvest sectors, including produce, meat, and poultry. • Lead initiatives to ensure Hygiena’s portfolio meets and exceeds quality and compliance standards across all relevant markets. • Collaborate with R&D, product management, and regulatory teams to inform product development and drive market-responsive innovation. • Develop and execute vertical-specific strategies that align with Hygiena’s global business objectives. • Continuously assess and refine plans based on regulatory updates, market feedback, and competitive dynamics. • Partner with Product Management to build business cases that address unmet needs and accelerate growth in the food segment. • Deliver targeted training and support to commercial teams, ensuring they are equipped to articulate technical, regulatory, and market-specific value propositions. • Collaborate with marketing to develop impactful content and go-to-market assets tailored to segment-specific challenges. • Serve as a trusted advisor to strategic customers, translating complex regulatory or operational needs into actionable solutions. • Stay ahead of emerging regulations and maintain expertise in U.S. FDA, USDA/FSIS, Health Canada, and LATAM standards. • Act as a primary regulatory liaison, ensuring open, proactive communication between Hygiena and relevant authorities. • Provide internal guidance and updates on compliance changes, helping teams stay aligned with global expectations. • Cultivate partnerships with producers, processors, regulatory authorities, and trade organizations across the food chain. • Act as the central point of contact for external vertical stakeholders, reinforcing Hygiena’s reputation for quality, innovation, and expertise. • Support industry collaboration to shape best practices in food safety and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Food Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within food processing, food safety, or regulatory affairs
  • Proven success engaging with regulatory agencies such as the U.S. FDA, USDA/FSIS, or equivalent bodies
  • Strong background in developing and implementing food safety and quality solutions in regulated industries
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Vision, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat required.
  • Fluent in English, proficiency in Spanish and or Portuguese is strongly preferred.

Role Description The Hardware Refresh Manager leads the lifecycle planning and execution of hardware refresh activities across end-user devices, servers, and network equipment in a federal IT environment. The role oversees large-scale deployment, decommissioning, and secure disposal of IT assets to keep the environment secure, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards. This position works closely with logistics, procurement, and operations teams to coordinate refresh schedules, manage vendor credits, and minimize disruption to mission-critical operations. - Design and maintain a multi-year hardware refresh strategy and roadmap, defining replacement cycles, prioritization criteria, and enterprise hardware standards. - Assess hardware health, performance, and support status to identify end-of-life and end-of-support risks and translate them into actionable refresh plans. - Plan and manage large-scale refresh projects, including demand forecasting, procurement coordination, warehouse staging, imaging, deployment, and rollback strategies. - Establish and enforce refresh policies and procedures for laptops, mobile devices, and network equipment to ensure consistency, security, and compliance. - Coordinate secure decommissioning and disposal processes, including data sanitization and compliant recycling or destruction of retired assets. - Manage relationships with hardware vendors related to trade-in credits, warranty coverage, and advanced replacement programs. - Use asset and configuration management systems to maintain accurate inventories, track refresh status, and provide metrics and reports to leadership. - Align refresh planning with security baselines and enterprise architecture standards so hardware platforms support current and future operating systems and critical applications. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. - 2–5 years of experience in IT hardware lifecycle management, asset management, or large-scale deployment/refresh projects. - Demonstrated experience coordinating procurement, warehouse, and deployment activities for IT equipment in an enterprise environment. - Familiarity with asset management and configuration management tools used to track inventory and lifecycle status. - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required; ability to travel less than 10%. Preferred Qualifications - Certification in IT asset management or hardware lifecycle management (such as CHAMP or similar). - Experience delivering refresh programs in highly regulated public-sector or federal environments. - Exposure to ITIL-based IT Service Management processes and their application to hardware lifecycle activities.
