Engineer, Agentic AI – Virtual
Alight Solutions
• Owning end‑to‑end technical outcomes: architecture, design, implementation, and production support • Partnering with Product to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps; lead backlog refinement, estimation, and sprint planning • Designing agentic AI systems: multi‑agent orchestration, tool‑use, retrieval (RAG), planning, and self‑evaluation loops • Defining and implementing AI agentic standards and guardrails for safety, compliance, and ethical use, including policy enforcement and observability • Integrating agents with APIs, event streams, and data platforms; measure outcomes against product KPIs • Defining and evolve service architectures with strong non‑functional qualities (performance, scalability, security) • Collaborating with Architecture on standards, cross‑team integrations, and technology governance • Implementing CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps workflows; champion release engineering best practices • Implementing production observability (APM/logging/metrics/tracing), define/publish SLOs & SLAs, and use data to improve reliability and performance
Job Requirements
- 5+ years’ development experience
- AWS expertise: designing and deploying cloud‑native solutions using AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM)
- Proven experience building microservices/APIs and delivering high‑scale systems
- Applied DevOps/SRE skills: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, GitOps, and production observability

- Experience with agent frameworks (orchestration, tool‑use), LLMs, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines (RAG)
- Hands‑on with Kubernetes/ECS, Terraform/CloudFormation, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and APM/logging tools
- Secure software design (OAuth/OIDC, secrets mgmt), performance profiling/tuning, and cost‑aware architectural decisions
- Agile delivery at scale; comfort leading estimation and backlog processes
