CTG is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with strong Snowflake expertise to design and deliver enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions. This role will focus on developing interactive dashboards, optimizing data models, and enabling scalable analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision making. Location: RemoteDuration: 12 months Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI with Snowflake as the primary data source. - Build and optimize Power BI data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations. - Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve and transform data within Snowflake. - Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable BI solutions. - Optimize performance of Power BI reports and dashboards connected to Snowflake data environments. - Implement enterprise BI best practices related to governance, security, and performance. - Design intuitive, drill-down capable web-based reporting solutions for business users. - Support distribution of dashboards and reports via portals, email, and web platforms. - Participate in Agile development processes and iterative delivery cycles. Required Skills: - Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI dashboard and report development. - Expertise in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query. - Advanced SQL and experience working with Snowflake data platforms. - Experience supporting scalable data pipelines, transformations, and integrations. - Knowledge of BI tools and platforms such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Qlik, or similar. - Experience building enterprise dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions. Role Description Responsible for defining, designing and implementing business intelligence (BI) technologies and services to enable the analysis of data to support strategic initiatives and ongoing business requirements as part of the Revenue Cycle (RC) Data Analytics team. - Support the three (3) Patient Business Services operations (PBS) as well as the local Regional Health Ministries (RHMs) across Hospital and Medical Group revenue cycle operations. - Advanced technical skills to perform analysis, design, configuration and implementation of business intelligence reports and dashboards. - Develop business intelligence solutions using Business Objects, Qlikview and Tableau technologies. - Assist in the development of an enterprise analytical and self-service/ad-hoc reporting environment. - Lead the business intelligence solution development life-cycle, development of BI standards, templates and procedures. - Act as a mentor to other Data Analytics team members in creating a sustainable analytics ecosystem. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in healthcare or information technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Information Technology, with five (5) years as a BI developer in a large data warehouse and business intelligence environment. - Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with BI technologies such as Business Objects, Cognos, Qlikview, Tableau. - Minimum of five (5) years of experience writing and tuning advanced SQL. - Demonstrated mastery and experience in creation and maintenance of Business Intelligence (BI) tool suites. - Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare nomenclature preferred. - Expertise in different data modeling methodologies (e.g., 3NF). - Strong proficiency in leading technical projects, assignments and analysis. - Excellent organization, analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work in teams and in a self-directed work environment. - Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. • Design and implement data pipelines that integrate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) into an existing enterprise data platform • Extend and maintain a Data Vault 2.0 architecture (Raw Vault, Business Vault, and Information Mart layers) • Develop data transformations using dbt within a Databricks Lakehouse environment • Build persistent staging and ingestion pipelines to address operational system data retention limitations • Integrate data from multiple operational and reference sources to enable consolidated cross-system reporting • Contribute to the creation of scalable Information Marts that support high-frequency analytical reporting • Follow and enhance existing automation frameworks and development standards used in the platform • Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and future-ready • Contribute to designing architectures that can evolve from batch ingestion to real-time data processing
