CSG
• Report to the director of Solution Engineering to use industry, technology and business knowledge to lead conversations with our clients designed to identify challenges and use the full portfolio of CSG solutions, products, services, and partners to provide relevant solutions to solve those challenges • Work with our product and sales teams to interpret customer requirements and deliver solutions with the end-goal of sales in mind. • Research the industry on an on-going basis to understand what changes may be on the horizon that will impact current and future sales. • Provide feedback to groups across the organization, including R&D, for process or product improvements as required. • Develop product demonstrations and sales presentations that explain key technical aspects of solutions that will benefit customers and prospects • Provide clear and accurate technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs. • Collaborate with the Sales team to manage the RFx delivery and follow-up process.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years' experience in a client facing consultant or professional services role and is willing to travel possibly 50% of the time.
- Successful experience working with sales, product, and engineering staff to deliver high-quality presentations and demonstrations to clients.
- Strong written communication skills as well as experience in delivering presentations to an audience.
- Experience working in a similar capacity as a vendor supplying software as a service or an internet services company.
- Solid knowledge with Microsoft technologies, SaaS based delivery models, public cloud infrastructures, HTML, JavaScript, and creative design.
- Proficient knowledge working in the following applications: Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence, Photoshop, and Integrated Development Environments (ex. WebStorm).
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
- Knowledge and/or willingness to interact with AI tools in a work setting.

Job Summary The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning how we best serve our customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance and ensuring value realization in their investment with Palo Alto Networks. As a Solutions Consultant you provide technical leadership and expertise and guidance in your customer’s security transformation journey. You will play a key role in defining technical solutions that secure a customer’s key business imperatives and ensuring value realization of their investment with Palo Alto Networks. You evangelize our industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security operations services that establish PANW as your customer’s cybersecurity partner of choice. This role is for the Federal District and requires at minimum a Secret security clearance.
