Job Description

Agile Project Manager, Information Technology

Intecon

• Lead and manage multiple DoD software development projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with approved scope, cost, schedule, and performance requirements. • Develop, maintain, and update Program/Project Management documentation, including Project Management Plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Risk Management Plans, Integrated Master Schedules, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes. • Facilitate program and project meetings, including sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, stakeholder reviews, and executive briefings. • Apply Agile Framework methodologies, including user story development, backlog management, sprint execution, prioritization, and adaptive planning to accommodate evolving requirements. • Oversee and coordinate activities of cross-functional project team members, including software developers, engineers, and support personnel. • Review and approve project deliverables to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with DoD standards and contractual requirements. • Manage risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution processes to minimize impacts to program execution. • Utilize ServiceNow to support project tracking, workflow management, task assignments, and reporting. • Monitor program performance metrics and provide status reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders. • Coordinate with DoD stakeholders to ensure software development efforts align with mission priorities and operational requirements. • Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and promote collaboration across cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and delivery outcomes. • Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance program and project management effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Program/Project Management, Business Management, or related discipline.
  • Certifications: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Experience: 5 years of demonstrated program and/or project management experience.
  • 5 years of demonstrated knowledge developing Program/Project Management documentation (Project Management Plan, WBS, Risk Management Plan, Project Schedule, meeting documentation).
  • 5 years of demonstrated knowledge utilizing Agile Frameworks and associated practices, including user stories, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and retrospectives.
  • 5 years of DoD experience.
  • 5 years of DoD Software Development Project and Program Management experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience utilizing ServiceNow.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask by managing multiple concurrent projects and overseeing project team members while reviewing and approving deliverables.
  • Desired/Preferred Scrum Master certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
